Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am the county coordinator for the Armstrong and Rusk County pages of the TXGenWeb and have made cemetery catalogs my hobby. Cemeteries fascinate me and I am still seeking burial sites for several of my "grands" but did get to add a stone to a great grandmother's grave a few years ago. I started researching my own family about 25 years ago but have slowed down due to my participation in Internet genealogy sites.
You're more than welcome to use my photos in your family research but please don't take them for other sites without giving me credit.
My other passion is my Irish wolfhounds...

RE: Zona Coon
I have updated Zona Coon's birth date. The last correction you wanted was for David True. I knew Sarah Jane Coon was married to him, but I didn't know when or where he died. Please send me the memorial number you wanted to attach for him and I will get that updated as well. Thank you for your patience. Since they are also relatives of mine, I wanted to be able to check any conflicting information. Its been a while since I worked on the family so I needed to re-familiarize myself with them.
Sincerely, Wendi

RE: Sarah Blue
Hi Gina,

Thanks for your note. Tippecanoe County, Indiana, land records from 1847 finally provided the proof I needed to identify Sarah and tie her to the Jordans. The full breakout of her family as I now have it is at : click to enter the site; select "William" from the list at the left of the page; and scroll down to William's second child, Sarah.

I seem to remember corresponding with you about the family ten years ago or so. Good to hear from you again!

Memorial updates
I accepted all the suggested update but two, Zona Coon and about David True. Since they are my relatives as well and we have conflicting information, I hope you don't mind me requesting a source to your updated information. I don't mind being wrong, but I would like a source to show I am wrong and so can correct my work with a source as well. Thank you for your understanding.

Check out Memorial #26413559
I found a pre-need memorial set up for Harvey's sister Marjorie. In this case, I am very happy the memorial was created. I was able to add maiden name, birthplace, parent and spouse links. I also corrected her birthday and middle name which had both been entered wrong. So Harvey and Marjorie are now linked to their parents. All we need to complete the family is Floyd. But I pray he lives a long and happy life.

I agree with Deb and would like to remove the picture as well. I had a reason at one time for thinking he was my ancestor but do not know why now and I would rather err on the side of caution.

I do agree with you on this! Judging by census it does appear to be two different men with very similar data. And no, I'm not related. I just got off on the surname and found this fella. I spent several hours on this guy ..... I really think he's the one born in AL and not the one from SC. The one from SC might have died early on (I did not pursue his name) but the dates, birth of children, marriage, parent names on DC's for said children, census records, etc, seem to match up for the one born in AL who along with his wife, were still living in 1910 census.

When I get a name like this with conflicting data I find it best to just leave the memorial as seen on tombstone. All other "comments" I add to the bio and let the viewing patrons decide for themselves. (find a grave tends to concur with this as well)

Elev Erickson - Floyd
Thank you for the information on Erick/Elev, I have made the corrections and I submitted to the other memorials to try to remove the links. Hopefully those are completed soon.
Thanks again for the correction.

RE: Ellyon Shaw
Hello Ms Gale

I hag to thank you, because just recently I have made the decision to relocate to Texas. I didn't really get to know my father's family very well. So, how would I ever get to see the grave site if I move there. Just by typing my dad's name on google the website popped up and I was able to see the information. So, now I will know where to go just in case I am unable to contact any family members. I, at least now know where my dad is located.

GOD BLESS YOU and peace to you and your family foe the good works that you do.
