I am a retired accountant. I've been doing genealogy for about 15 years, working with my sister. I love to camp and my husband and I go out as often as possible. If anyone finds a mistake in any of my entries, please let me know so I can correct it. I would appreciate supporting documents with these corrections. If you have any additional information, I would be happy to add it. I have added all available photographable tombstones in Big Adkins Cemetery, Eugene Township, Carroll County, Missouri. There were several very old sandstone tombstones that could not be cleaned and read. If you find one that is your ancestor, let me know and if it isn't also mine, I will be happy to transfer it to you. Don't ask me for transfers or to make changes that aren't verified if you don't have an e-mail address or allow public postings on your own page. If I can't verify certain info or you don't care enough for me to be able to explain my own actions--or lack thereof, then don't ask in the first place.|

|Connie Rifenburg||Daisy Mathis 23356462|
I believe there is an error in connecting Daisy Mathis Standley to William Glenn Standley.
I can not find a marriage of these two. But I do see a 1940 census with Daisy Standley and William Glenn Standley.
Daisy White married Charles Standley on 5-31-1911. And it is documented on the death certificate that his wife is Daisy Standley.
Daisy C Mathis birthday is 1897 in 1910 & 1920 census but she is listed as "Floretta Mathis" in the 1900 census. She died on 23 Sept 1986 at age 90.
Daisy White birthday is 1896
This memorial has a headstone showing Daisy F Standley, but William Glenn Standley's death certificate says he is divorced when he died in 1951
Is there any help you could give me to straighten out this possible error? Are you related to the Standleys? I am related to the Mathis family.
Thank you if you can help on this.
I notice you also take care of Charles Standley and Daisy White's memorial.

The person that took the survey of the cemetery didn't take photos but I may be able to find a volunteer that would be willing to take them after the snakes quit crawling. I will start asking around and will send you a message if I get someone. Yes, I will ask them to delete the Palymra Cemetery. Thank you!!
|Vicki Evans||Palmyra Cemetery (Palymra)|
Hello, I am Vicki Evans and work in the Genealogy Room of the Greenup County Public Library. During Find A Graves Community Days volunteers and I have been adding graves from our county wide survey and noting duplicate cemeteries in Greenup County Kentucky. We found a duplicate for Palmyra Cemetery. Yours has two listings, the grave of Joseph Willis #63578257 and a memorial for Elizabeth Willis #63578458. The other Palmyra has 5 listings. I would like to ask you to transfer your listings into the other Palmyra Cemetery. We will be adding 15 more graves to this cemetery within the week. Joseph is in our survey so we know for sure that he has a stone. Elizabeth isn't included in the survey so we can't verify her stone. This cemetery is abandoned and so overgrown, there could be a stone there but if it's fallen over there could be as much as an inch or two of dirt covering it. :( Thank for all that you do for Find A Grave.
I am trying to do more research, with records this old, it's tough, I am determined to straighten this out, will let you know as I make progress...thanks
|Michael Kelley||RE: William & Elizabeth (Pollack) Miles|
I just checked your bio and noticed that your contact info specifies to use a public message to reply to your posts.
You left me a message on May 19th offering to transfer William Miles (71011429) and Elizabeth Miles (71011695) to me.
If that offer is still available, I would be grateful if you would transfer them to me.
Thank you for the offer and the work you done with their memorials.
Michael Kelley (48816430)
