Looking for connections and closure after my grandmother's sudden death; I went googling her name. I came across a page on 'Find A Grave' a member had graciously created for her. That page gave me a sense of comfort I cannot ever describe. |
Since then; in my free time, I have added to Find a Grave family members and community neighbors from where my family is from. I hope to give the same sense of joy and comfort to someone else that was given to me.
Other than that; I am a 38 year young busy mom of four who was born and raised in central & Northern CA., currently stuck in the Sacramento, CA area.
I have always had a fascination with old cemeteries. I think Find A Grave will be a welcomed hobby for me. I cherish the opportunity to help others learn and connect.
I try to make sure I use as many input fields as possible when doing entries. This is to enable the search function can work at its fullest. If I have made errors, or you have additions, photos, etc to anything I have submitted; please do not hesitate to email.

I added a photograph of Patrick's memorial......just thought you'd like to know. I very much enjoyed your bio section; it gave me a good feeling about the photographs that I (and many other volunteers) add to the findagrave website. Happy Trails.

I've sent you a few SACs since July 2013 but find the memorials have not been updated. If you would like me to resend my requests, please let me know. Thanks in advance :)

Could you please link Albert Truttman, #23093472 to his father, Carl Joseph Truttman, #46696341 and to his mother, Theresa [Inderbitzen] Truttman #46696344. I sent a request through his memorial several months ago, but know you're a busy mom. Thanks.

Has the correct burial information-however your entry is earlier on FindaGrave, perhaps they can be merged
|Betty Stevens||A Thank You|
Thank you Lisa for being a part of the Find-A-Grave effort. Your posting of Marjorie May DeWitt's obituary was most gratifying as I had lost contact with her family after visiting with her in the mid 2000's. She and I were first cousins once removed and I had always heard about her and was thankful that I had gotten to meet her when she was in her 90's. Can I post a picture of her? Thank you again....Betty
|Julie LeHunt||Leona BRINSON INGALLS|
I saw that you'd left flowers for Leona BRINSON INGALLS & I wanted to let you know I just added pix of her gravesite. I don't know she's a relative, but I figured that while I was in the cemetery looking for relatives I knew were buried there, I'd better take pix of gravesites for anyone who could possibly be a relative. Figured they'd do the most good here. My Great-grandmother was Minnie Belle/Bell BRINSON. Let me know if you think there might be a connection!
|Nicole Ward||Robert L Rodgers|
Hello! I noticed you added a page for Robert L Rodgers at the Green Valley Cemetary. This is my grandpa who I miss very much! Thank you for making a page for him. Are you related in any way??
Also, would you be able to get a current picture of his grave? His headstone was added after I attented the funeral. I currently live in TN so I am not able to see it myself and I don't want to upset my grandma by asking her.
|Nora Avery||Comfort Weeks Ingalls|
Hi, was wondering what connection you have to Comfort Weeks Ingalls buried in Baptist Hill Cem in Vermont? She was my GGGG grandmother.
I just read the memorial about the passing of your grandfather. So sorry dear. You sound like a precious granddaughter.
|Lee Manning||Reoma Scalf|
You are certainly welcome. I wanted to let you know that your grandmother is in a very pretty little cemetery. Even though it is out in the middle of nowhere, it is very well maintained. There are woods on one side of it, and open field/pastures on the other three sides. Right in the middle someone has put a flag pole with an American Flag. When I was there, there was a gentle breeze blowing, and birds were singing. It was actually a very peaceful moving moment for me.
Take care and enjoy her memories.
