Bio Photo First I started talking to people, and now I am taking pictures of cemetery stones, most are my relatives, but I have started to take photo requests in my area.

RE: a duplicate?
I don't seem to own that one in question, but the Peter Oller I am tracking being buried in Ohio is the son of the one in West Virginia. My best guess is that they are off by a generation, and put the father there because they saw the headstone and couldn't make out the dates quite right. But I've personally been to the one in West Virginia so I know the born 1749 is there.

RE: Joseph Wixon

I checked out Joseph's memorial page and can see the problem. When I initially entered names I got the list from the Ulster County site on line. It just listed the very basic information that you found. A woman was writing me for sometime after that with additional information on the people I had entered. She had gotten ahold of the Admission records for the Ulster County Poor House. She sent me quite a few......all very detailed. I always ask for a source which she did list. That is the best that I can tell you. I'm actually surprised now as I think back on it because records are locked up pretty tight for institutions in New York State. I entered names for an institution in my area of New York. I've had many people writing to ask if I had any more info. I just added what I knew which was the name on the tombstone. I did do a little hunting in census records for more information for some of the names but beyond that.....It's pretty tough to get info. I hope what this lady sent along to me is correct and that she took it exactly as it was written in the records she had. I hope this helps......

RE: Catherine Colin
I will. I may have printed it out, but it may take some to find it. My records are currently in piles all over my desk.

RE: Catherine Colin
I should have sourced the info, where I found it. Now, I can't find it. Apparently it have been removed. I will remove what I wrote.
It was actually a medical study out of Canada, which stated a number of women who were Filles a Marier were actually Canadian Indian females.
As I have since read it is nearly impossible to prove Indian ancestry through genetic markers, I guess the study was disapproved.

I noticed that you left a note for him at his memorial about the school year book?
Would you have a HS photo of him?
I have created a memorial for him at our company website at,
