Memorial No. 102919550 Zella Elizabeth Morgan Fowler
Hi! I was curious where you found the information that Zella was buried here. Was it in a cemetery burial index? Very curious and excited as we have been looking for her burial for quite awhile. Any information you can give me would be much appreciated. :)

RE: Minnie McPheters

I added some more information to Minnie's bio that I found yesterday evening. I never did find proof that she divorced William T. Myers, but he was not mentioned in her obituary which usually points towards the marriage ending that way. It's possible that William may have died in the early 1930's, but I couldn't find any evidence to support that theory.

Charles McPheters was not mentioned in Minnie's obit either. That marriage must have ended rather badly because Charles' obituary mentions that he was married twice, but doesn't mention Minnie Fowler Myers! It would seem that they were married for no less than 5 years.

I found Charles and Minnie in Arkansas on the 1940 census. His daughter, Nelda McPheters, and Minnie's son, Elmer Myers, were both living with them at that time. I would bet that Charles and Minnie were divorced in the early 1940's.

I linked Minnie to the Joseph C. Fowler I believe to be her father. Let me know if I have the wrong man. I was unable to find her mother on Find A Grave. If you happen to know that she is on Find A Grave, please send me her memorial number and I will link Minnie to her.

Thanks for giving me the name of Francis (Frank) Fowler to add to Minnie's sibling list. The Fowler family seems to have moved around quite a bit when she was young which sometimes makes it difficult to get a complete list, so I appreciate your help.

Hope you like the pictures of Minnie's stone. Definitely no husband or other family members buried next to her, but she does have other relatives at Wanda Cemetery (son, John; grandchildren; great-grandchildren). The other family members are not buried by her.

Minnie McPheters

I did some research this evening and added a bio to Minnie McPheters' memorial. Please feel free to let me know if you would like me to make any corrections and/or additions.

If you will click on Request a Photo on her memorial, I will be happy to take care of adding a tombstone photo for you!
