Sherri, If at all possible could you please take a look at the stone photo of Rev Rodney Jasper Mason and see if his death year is 1904 or 1905? Or if you are going to be near the Leighs Chapel Cemetery in Tipton Co., TN, would you please take a look at the stone. Someone in 2016 has added a memorial #163531006 for Rev R. J. Mason with the death year of 1905. In looking at your photo (which is a darn good one), I am having a bit of trouble trying to read the last numeral on the death date. And would you by any chance be related to this family?

Forgot to mention, there is a town of Washington in the township of Washington in Daviess County, Indiana. It is confusing, as there is a county of Washington also, but these folks are from Daviess Co. Thanks again. Lily

Dear Sherri, I have done a lot of research on Agnes (Smoot) Farrell. She married Charles J. Farrell on Sept.3,1885 in Daviess County, Indiana.
Her birthplace is mentioned in the marriage application of her daughter Hallie Grace Farrell.
Census records show her birth year as 1857. She was older than her husband. I have seen wrong dates on gravestones before, usually because the children don't always know. Anyhow, wanted you to know why my edits are the way they are. Hallie Grace was married May 13,1909 in Daviess Co., Indiana also.
Are you related? Thanks, Lily
Thank you.. I have made the correction.

My cousin and I took photo's of the whole thing a few years ago and I went back and got the new ones when I was down there a week ago but as I went through the list from the library there were some mistakes so great that you are checking. Both our goals is to make sure it is correct. My email is email@example.com let me know what you find. I am going to put together a new list of the whole cemetery to give to the library eventually. Thanks!!

Oops I mean Aug 29, 1878 Thanks for all that you do.

Found another one. Records say death was Aug 23,1878. I'm only trying to help not be critical. You may be correct on both of them.

I went to Tipton County Library and got all the info they had on Shiloh so that I could find out who else was buried in the back part of Shiloh. On that paperwork it says that Sarah died in 1889. It could be a type o but you may want to check it.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics. Ethel is distantly blood related to me on my Dad's side, but very distant.
