Hi. Do you have any idea where Andrew might be buried in the cemetery or what the marker might look like? I just knocked off another turn-of-the-previous-century request for this cemetery and would love to close out the last current request.

Could you put Eliza Beggs plot number in? OP-01-135 Thanks, Mike

I pretty much just took pictures of all the tombstones and am adding the names that don't have memorials yet.
I'm actually learning who's related to who NOW!
So many intertwined relations from the various church members. (try getting into the Roches & Healy's!)
When I was a small child, I remember an "old Mrs. Kercheval". Apparently she was Katherine Dawson. Her brother Earl lived 1/2 block from us. Earl's youngest (Joe Dawson on Facebook) is about 8 years older than me.
Maybe he can help?

I could not find the other Beggs grave. It is not in the transcription or the Lot transcription.
Effie's stone is broken off and laying against another stone.
|James Luke||John Mears age|
Just looking at it, I'd say it is a 7 as it looks pretty similar to the 7 in 1897 above it. I don't know if you saw, but I added a photo of Andrew's stone. It was the one I thought was broken off, but it is sunken in. I don't know if you have the means, but John's stone and Hale's stone need some help. John's is leaning at a very precipitous angle and may fall over before too long and Hale's is loose on the base and the base is pretty beat up. I hope someone can save these stones before it is too late as they are in remarkably good condition for their age and being out in the middle of the prairie. Andrew's stone could probably use a little straightening up too.
|James Luke||Hale Mears memorial page|
I transferred ownership of this memorial page to you as it is your family. I'll try to get the other pictures as soon as I can.
|James Luke||Mears family|
The family stone and Hale's stone were close together. As a matter of fact, there was a stone for a Max Mears and a John Mears and another stone that may have been broken off or something happened to it. They were all within about 2 or 3 yards of each other around the big family stone.
To the best of my recollection, that fourth side was either blank, or appeared blank because of years of weathering.
