Commodore Perry Jackman
Hi Bonnie,
I transferred Commodore to you. You can remove the incorrect name of his mother. The information came from the WA State Digital Archives.

RE: Thanks so much
No problem! Just out of curiosity, do you happen to know if their bodies were relocated to a different cemetery? From the research i gathered most of the graves were moved to another cemetery but a few headstones remain. I found it rather odd that only a few internments were left buried there and I wondered if it was actually only their headstones that were left behind.

Thomas Starns - death certificate

I am a fellow volunteer - I am uploading photos of death certificates for people who died in Benton County, Oregon in the early 1900s. Thomas - find a grave memorial# 27077851 has reached the limit for pictures for an unsponsored site, so I cannot upload his death certificate. If you would like it, please email me and I'll send you the photo.

Thank you,
Rhea Graham

RE: Flora Bauer Moffitt
Flora, husband, Thomas Vincent Moffitt, 2nd wife Teresa Josephine Reinberger Moffitt are all three buried in "Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois" check in Find A Grave and name has to be exact for cemetery as I wrote it. Long article on Flora, no stone photo so I requested one. Thomas & Flora Moffitt are the grandparents of my Aunt Florence Moffitt Parrish, Mrs. James E. Parrish; Her father was Aloysius "Al" Thomas Moffitt & Nettie M. McDonald, they are all buried in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. Give me Helena Bauer's full name and birth/death dates and I will check with Aunt Florence, she still lives in Nauvoo.

RE: Birdie Giezentanner
Hello Bonnie,

I hope my email was well received. I think I was excited someone else was excited about our past. I'm sure you are on the right track with Aunt Dorthy to get the Giezentanner's help you need to get the book published. I was just offering my help, but not sure I expressed it well. If you and Aunt Dorthy need anything please feel free to call or email.

Also, If you would like to get any information from Dorthy's other sisters, Kay and Dawn, I can give you their numbers. I'm not sure if Aunt Dorthy knows their numbers or not. I'm sure they would love to hear about the idea of having the book republished and help if they can in anyway.

Best Wishes,
Tammy Giezentanner

Birdie Giezentanner
My Name is Tammy Giezentanner and Birdie Giezentanner is my Great Grandmother. If you have not seen the Book Chalis of the Gods, then you might be interested in it as it has some photos of both Charles Giezentanner and birdie Giezentanner.
I use to navigate ships on the Columbia River and discovered in a book hand writings from Charles that his brother was a captain on the river. I am looking for information on his brothers taking on of the Celilo falls in a steamboat on the Columbia. Does anyone know anything? Thank you

Was charles Carpenter your grandfather? or great grandfather. He was my grandfather Frederick Carpenter's brother. Just wondering. I just found him on here. Never knew what happened to him. David Carpenter
