Bio and Links
I have been researching my family trees (off and on) for the last thirty years.

My mother's family is mostly in Scott County, Virginia. I am interested in the Stanleys, Stewarts, Carters, Kerns, Lyons and many other branches.

My paternal grandfather's family settled in Laporte County, Indiana. I am looking for the Schwagers, Sadenwaters and Wittes. All Germans.

My paternal grandmother's family had a bad case of wonderlust. They moved around a lot. They can be found in Maryland, Pennslyvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and many other states. These branches would be the Fischers, Adams, Glazes, and McCluskeys.

If there is 1) additional information to be added
2) corrections to be made, or
3) tranfers requests.

Please go to the memorial page and click on Edit then click on Suggetions.

Transfer Requests will be per guidelines. Please let me know how you are related.

Stanley vs Carter cemetery
Teresa, You have people with headstone pictures in The Stanley Cemetery, Stanleytown, Scott County, Va. There seems to be a problem with the location of this cemetery. The GPS cords for the Stanley & The Carter cemetery are the same. I was there 2 years ago & took pictures of all the Carter Cemetery head stones, but the people listed as being in the Stanley Cemetery are not there. Have you ever been to the Stanley Cemetery? The cords must be wrong so if you know where I can look I would be grateful.

Della Etta Stanley-Herron
Hi Theresa, thank you so much for contacting me. Della Etta Stanley is my great grandmother, she was born ab 1892 died April 1908. she was married to Matt Herron. her parents were James M. Stanley and Sarah Clark. My Grandmother (Ollie Ramey) was 5 months old when Della Etta died. My Grandmother told us that her mom was buried in the Wildcat, on property that her father deeded to her for a cemetery. Not sure of the name, Della Etta's brother Oscar Stanley. and her sister Mae are also buried in the cemetery. I put Stanley cemetery as her burial place to see if for some luck it was the right one. I will keep searching. thanks again.

Teresa, the more family research I do the more I see your name in relation to them on find a grave. I am also direct line related to most all the surnames you have listed as family. Can I ask you who your grand parents are? I would like to see how we are related in my family tree. You can send me an Email if you want. I would love to hear from you.

A Thank You
I apologize for not thanking you before now, for all the changes and transfers that I have requested of you. Also for my lack of knowledge as to the easy way to make those requests. I promise to do it better in the future. Soooo Thank You for all your work and extra effort you put in to Find A Grave.

Teresa, (again) I apologize for the extreme delay in getting this corrected and linked. While I was "off" for a few months due to illness, this one got stuck in a pile of info pages and I just found it. Link has been made to his wife. If you would like this memorial transferred to you, please let me know. Thanks.

Teresa, Thomas Radford Ramey #20982625 is my grandfather's brother. Uncle Rad's Wife, Cora (Fraizer) Ramey #20982594 & their daughter, Fannie (Ramey) Catron #20982564. I have been busy on the family tree and have been trying to tie every one together. Would you consider transferring the above people to me? Would you also consider transferring other members of my family as they come up? I would be grateful to you if you would consider my request.
