Joseph W. Story Memorial #13082877
I have an original of the picture you posted to this memorial. The picture, according to our family information, is Joseph, his 3rd wife Margaret (maiden name was NOEL) seated behind him, his daughter Lora J. "Imo" to the left, and his son Harry "Homer" to the right of the picture. We tie into the family through the NOEL surname. - Sandra

William John Ross
Kathleen,

Hello and thanks for all the work you have done on this site!

Since you have posted a picture of William John Ross, I wonder if you might have any idea (and of course willing to share) if his parents were Amanda and William Ross? ...or for that matter any relation to Mary and Alexander W Ross? His Grandmother(Mary) was last found in Lake Benton with his parents in 1875 and I am trying to locate a grave for her with the hopes of discovering her maiden name.

I know, a shot it the dark, I am sure but am at a loss. Thanks so much for your time and consideration!

Best regards,

Lisa Haff

Kathleen, what lovely things to say, thank you so much!

And thank you for the information. I get very attached to my photos and feel the strong desire to tell a part of their story, but when I can't read them it becomes very hard! I really appreciate you clearing it up.

With your permission I would like to transfer Keziah to you. I feel better when memorials are with family. As for Nancy, she is in my ? file. lol. I started all of these projects last summer, and then I couldn't pay for my internet after December, so I never finished them! If you want to make a memorial for her I can pop the picture on there, or I will make it at a later date... Hoping to have internet at home soon. I sure hope so. I have hundreds of photos yet to be uploaded and promised myself I wouldn't take any more until I got them online. Well... I have the graving itch and spring is around the corner. HA HA!!!

Let me know what I can do for you. And thanks again for the appreciation. It makes it all worth it!!
