Benjamin James Webb
P.S.: After I looked at the names in those two cemeteries (Roaring River and Webb) it looks like they may be the same cemetery, but I believe the 1969 birth date is the correct one since, although it's certainly possible, it seems unlikely that his wife was eight years older than he was.

I'm not sure how this should be handled but someone who left no name [Created by: as

Find A Grave Memorial# 31377429] has also created a memorial for this same person. It is not as thorough as yours, but does have his burial site as Webb Cemetery and the fact that he was a soldier in the Revolutionary War. I hope you know how to handle duplicate sites. I haven't run into this before.

I wasn't aware any woman was in jail at Folsom. Wow! That's new. It is listed on wiki that Folsom Prison was for Federal crimes but did not mention women.

John Boyle Rose and Jane Christie
Hello, I have just found this site and your entry. Jane Rose was the sister of my husband's great grandfather Robert Christie. we were in Peoria two years ago but could not find any trace of the Christie's. I don't know how much documentation you have for Jane Christie but my tree is public on ancestry so you are welcome to have a look if there is anything there of interest. Kind regards

Just wanted to say hello. I am the great-grandson of Amelia Betty Dunne (Rose), the daughter of James Rose and Nettie Rose (Smith) and grand-daughter of John Boyle Rose and Jane (Christie) Rose. Amelia ended up remarrying in the 1960s after her husband Thomas Dunne passed away. when she died in 1989 her surname was then guzman, if you are interested, this is the link to her page, which I have recently asked for a photo of the gravesite.

I see that you have them (John and Jane) in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, IL? My understanding was they were both interred at Springdale Cemetery; their records say they are there, but this past summer I could not find their headstones, which I thought was odd, and it seems there were a lot of missing headstones in Springdale.

Have a good holiday weekend.

John Cornwell Webb headstone picture
S.L., I requested a headstone picture for John whose memorial you set up, Memorial# 20966829. Unfortunately, the volunteer was unable to get a picture due to the sad state of the cemetery. I left a message on the memorial page including this information so that we will not request another picture. Thank you for setting up the memorial for John Webb.
