I enjoy all types of research, art, history, camping, children, genealogy, a good read, movies, family reunions, plays, bird watching, singing, cats , dogs, friends, writing, and oh yes, checking out cemeteries! When I was growing up a very large and old cemetery was up the hill behind my grandparent's house in the small Georgia town of Franklin. My cousin and I spent time reading and talking about the dates, names and inscriptions. I was always surprised to learn not one of the deceased was related to us. So where were our relatives? Now I know they were in the smaller cemeteries all out in Heard and Carroll Counties and beyond. While at Sunday church in the Glenloch Community, my grandfather told me that every person in attendance was related to me one way or another. It made me feel warm and fuzz. I just wish they could have sung a little better!

According to my records and Isaac Teague Simmons Bio...Isaac Monroe Simmons is the s/o of Isaac Teague Simmons, not Rev. William Belton Simmons.
Could you please correct this? Thank you.

Sorry, I put it in the title to the message. I understand how that can be easily overlooked.

I'm trying to find a record for Nancy Ann Upchurch and Jim Walker. I've been unable to find proof of their existence outside of ancestry trees. I noticed you mention them in their bios, and I hoped you had a family bible or something that legitimizes this part of my family tree.

Jonathan Colbert Musick
Hi, You are credited with posting the picture of Jonathan Colbert Musick. I was wondering if you are a relative, are you on, have you taken a DNA test if related, and if by chance you have any more pictures. I'm looking for the biological father for my brother and I believe Jonathan Colbert Musick may be the Great Great Grandfather of my brother based on the DNA results. Also, my brother looks just like him in the picture. Thank you.

I created memorials for Birdie Brock, John Lowell Brock, and Versie Brock. I linked John to his parents, Lemuel and Mary Brock in Simco.
