Paul and Krista have been married since 1995 and have been actively involved in family history research ever since. We both love history and enjoy traveling and visting our ancestors' stomping ground.|
Krista's families are mostly recent immigrants to the USA including the Van der Schaafs from the Netherlands and Mohrings from Germany who settled in LaCrosse and Monroe County in Wisconsin. The Hoffs came from Norway to Vernon County, Wisconsin. The Eshelmans are my oldest ancestors from Switzerland to Pennsylvania, some to Illinois and then up to Monroe County, Wisconsin. Any other family names I add in were married in to my family.
Paul's families were known to be Iowa farm families. The Linderbaum and Schaefer families lived in Howard County, Iowa. The Hanson and and Sechler families also ended up in Iowa. But both the Sechler and Schaefer families are old families in the start of the USA and can be connected together on the Mayflower. The Hansons came from Norway, and the Linderbaums came from Germany in the late 1800s.
We look forward to linking up our ancestors from long ago as well as connect with our distant cousins who are also engaged on this lifelong quest of family history resarch.

|PJM||RE: Father Brand 15545017 & Anna Brand 15544868 photo requests|
Thank you for going out early last November to fill these requests, both of which had problems of not being found. So sorry it has taken me so long to clear out all of my Find A Grave work on my email and finally get to thanking all of the wonderful photo volunteers, who make research so much better by allowing us to figure out much more detail.
I think that John Brand was created twice by the same manager, who did not yet understand that "FATHER" was not an additional person, but an acknowledgment. I have asked that the duplicate be deleted, and for Anna have asked for further verification of her burial there.
Thanks for being so diligent!
All the best,

I have posted what you sent me but you might want to rewrite it in a more narrative format so that it is easier for readers to absorb. If you do, send it along and I will post it or I would transfer the memorial to you to work on.

You manage memorials for my grandparents, Sam M. De Vries 124127144, and Effie A. Andringa DeVries 124127222, in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sparta, WI.
On their memorials, you have a photograph of them with many of their grandchildren. I am one of those in the photo, and I have the original of this photo in my possession.
My question is: Are you related to me? Please contact me. I'd love to see if we are related.

Hi, Not a problem. Happy to get more info and help in your research. Lilly was a friend to my grandma. I believe they belonged to the same church circle.
