Born and lived in Nebraska until my early teens, we then moved to California. Now I'm living in Texas with my husband.

I started my genealogy research in 1992, with both of my parents deceased, I was wanting and needing to know more about my family. Since then I have discovered my father was an orphan train rider in about 1903, he was taken from NY to Kansas to live with a family there. My mother's family has lived all over the United States.

If I have put someone on findagrave that a family member would like removed just let me know and I will remove them. I think findagrave is great for future generations to be able to see their ancestors graves.

RE: Edward Francke
Kay:

Edward W Francke and wife Martha Ketelhut had five children, the youngest of which was their last daughter, Irene Ann Francke (1917-2005). Irene married twice... to William R Schneider (1916-1987) and to Floyd Harry Frisbee (1914-1980) who was also married twice, his other marriage with Fannie Miller (1921-2012).

Although I have no personal knowledge, process of deduction would indicate that your Nancy Frisbie was the daughter of Irene Francke and Floyd Frisbee; although Nancy's listed as "grand daughter" to Edward and Martha in the 1940 Census, it appears she used the maiden name of "Schneider". You can see more on Find-A-Grave at her Find A Grave Memorial # 91918764 (including a picture). Hope this helps, and if you find any confirming evidence as to the exact birth father, please drop me an update.

My wife said (LOL)- If you click on the cemetery Mt Hope and scroll down to the photos you can see photos of the Evergreen section, #5 & #6. Happy to add either one of those photos to the memorial if you'd like.

Hi Kay. I don't remember if I thanked you for the photo of my cousins grave marker in the Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth, TX. Anyway, "thank you" for finding and posting it for me.

Howards in White Cemetery, Van Buren County, Iowa
After doing some rubbing on Nancy A Howards stone, it says she was 2 m. old when she died.
And, on Margaret Howard's stone it says she was 32 years old.
This might help you in your research.
