Bio and Links
Bio Photo Several years ago I started entering listings for cemeteries that I have visited in search of family members. The information I obtained for a great majority of these were taken from photographs of the graves and a lot of these are not directly related to my family line. My intention was to add those photos soon after but never finished this project. I apologize for this and for any mistakes there may be. I would be happy to make corrections and I hopefully will be loading those photos in the near future.

I understand there is a way to transfer management of a memorial and you are welcome to take over any of these memorials that are not directly related to me. Just message me to let me know if you have an interest in taking one over.

Feel free to contact me for any questions. I am glad to help if I can.

RE: Hintergardt photo
You are very welcome - it is a very peacful cemetary in a little town - laid out almost like a park with trees and benches. I'm glad I could fulfill your request.

Farlow's Cemetery, Wicomico County, Maryland
Hi!
I would like to ask you for a favor. It would be a big help to me if you could pinpoint the location of the cemetery. Can the location be described as West side Pittsville-Gumboro St. Rd. .1 miles south of Cobbs Hill Rd? I have a copy of "Graveyards and Gravestone of Wicomico" by John E. Jacob. It is an early, respected cemetery transcription book which was published about 1971. The book includes burials up to 12/31/1900. There is a Farlow Cemetery in the book whose location is as described above and three of the graves transcribed in the book appear on the Find A Grave listing of Farlows Cemetery. One is that of Mary T. Holloway. There are 27 others in the book which do not appear on Find A Grave, including the grave of Mary's husband, Joshua Holloway. Could you let me know if the locations appear to be the same? I really appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks so much,

You are very welcome. Thanks for showing your appreciation. I was in the area today, so thought I'd try to hunt up the memorial you requested.

No problem! I just wanted to catch you before you made the 2nd request. These will be done over the weekend.

Take care,
Bonnie

Hello. I have claimed your photo request and noticed that she is linked to a husband, John, who is also buried here. I will look for him and get a photo of his gravestone, too. No need for you to do a separate photo request. If you do, I might not be able to claim it before someone else does, and then two of us would be going to the same grave site.

Best Regards,
Bonnie

You are welcome. It was satisfying to finally find her grave and marker. I like the inscription on the marker, "Free to travel the highway's of Heaven" with the etching of a car,
presumably a Cadillac.
