|I am currently working on the Mann/McGuire and Bowers/Richardson Family Trees. I find entering names and putting up pictures a fun thing to do. Who knows, I may enter someone that another person is looking for that holds the key to who they are!|
This is a wonderful genealogy tool.

Thanks Teresa, I made the requested link.

Thanks Teresa for your kind message. I have now positively identified the resting places of 529 men of the 13th Tennessee Cavalry largely because of the work that you and so many others have done.

Teresa, tell me what you can about Linda Mann, dates, was she married, parents, or whateveryou know. That cemetery is a disaster. They chopped brush two different times to be able to photo that much of it. They are going back in the spring and clean more, rake the leaves and sow grass. It's located about 3/4 mile up on a hill at the Henry Clawson property on the right just short of the Carter County/Avery County line. Or........you can go up through Poga and at the Church on the right there's a path that goes around the hill to it. The stone wasn't readable and that's why there is no info. That cemetery is known as Clawson, Hicks and Harmon.
To be honest I have lived there most of my life and never knew it existed.
There's another Clawson Cemetery in Poga before you get to the Church. I've got two people in it but do not know who else is there Kenneth Clawson and wife. We've been working Johnson Co.
Got several done, Sugar Grove with about 500, and Butler Memorial with about 1000. We got 7 more this weekend. And then to complicte things I got a letter from a Charles Peaters. He wanted to do Blevins and ask if I would post them.
I've been working on that today...several new to add before I tell him to send more.
What a mess! I must have lost my mind without a doubt?
Great hearing from you...........Bianca

I'm not related in any way.My suggestions were the result of my research in order to enter a whole bunch of graves from the John Carriger Cemetery that were sadly missing in the FINDAGRAVE system. I grew up in Elizabethton and graduated from "Betsy High" in 1947.Ben Treadway was in my class.Mary Ann Treadway[1822-1909] was my great -great-grandmother[she was married to Solomon Hendrix Stover[1812-1889].People have traced Mary Ann's family all the way back to Richard Treadway[1677-1720] and wife Jane Parker[1671-1721], my gggggg grandparents. My best regards,Dale Stover Jenkins.
