|I am the Sexton for the Kennard Cemetery at Kennard, Nebraska. I love 'researching' and would be happy to help fellow genealogists find their relatives in the Kennard area. I have photos of the gravestones in the Kennard Cemetery and would like to include obituaries. If anyone has any they would share, please email them to me and I will add to the record. To receive information about burials, either email me or call Kennard Village Office at 402-427-7311 and they will contact me.|

Thank you for the information and obit. I missed it when it came through in the World Herald.

I am wondering if you have any info Charles' wife in the same cemetery? her name was Alpharetta/Alfaretta - last name might be Bleier? I find it strange that he was buried here given that he was back to living in NY based on the censuses - unless his wife died & is buried here? I have that he was widowed before 1930?

Thanks much for transferring my aunt and uncle to me, as well as for creating their memorials. I promise to take good care of them.

|John Bull||Error on Ralph Zimmerman|
There is an error on Ralph Zimmerman's parents. Even though the obituary says that Hans & Maude were Ralph's parents, it is not true. They were his grandparents. Maude would have to be 59 years old if she had Ralph, which she didn't. Ralph was my dad's second cousin & I was in the same grade with his son Larry. I lived next door to his first wife's parents in Elkhorn. Ralph's father is Hans J. Zimmerman and his Mother was Louisa M. Zimmerman (Gosch), who are also buried in the same cemetery as Hans & Maude. Ralph's father Hans J. Zimmerman died when he was only 3 from the flu epidemic in 1918. His mother died in a car wreck when Ralph was 12 years old. I imagine his grandparents then raised him. I would guess that Ralph's kids from his second marriage didn't know much about Ralph's real parents, just his grandparents when they made the error in Ralph's obituary. Can you please correct the relationship on Ralph's obituary. Thanks.

Hi Dixie, Hope you may be able to help. Delilah's husben George Harman has a nice military stone in Ledford Cemetery. There is a unreadable stone just to the left of his. His father & wife Delilah all died the same year. I have records showing his father Henry Harman is buried in the cemetery also. I see in the memorial for her you have a Plot # R 5 S 1. Where did you find the Plot #. And is there any way I can find out where that is? I have searched the cemetery and not found Henry's stone. George Harman with an A & Wife Delilah Harmon with an O. Thanks Mike Harmon
Do you know if there is a military headstone? I found an application for one for him. Thank you.
I am working on getting into the Union for my GWR Ledford. I'm sitting here staring at the Find A Grave page and I know GWR Ledford father is John Ledford.
Do you have any idea where he is buried? When they came to MO, they were with JOHN RALLS family and into RALLS County. Have any ideas?
Ralls is part of his name George William Ralls Ledford...
