We enjoy exploring and documenting cemeteries, and feel it is important to preserve them through this site, before time takes its toll. We have seen so many cemeterys trod upon freely by cattle, neglected and vandalized. We dont mind at all to transfer a memorial to a family member or a loved one who wishes to maintain their loved ones site, unless they are one of our kinfolk. We think this is a wonderful way to remember those who have gone on before us and preserve that memory for generations to come. As for duplicates, I have made some, as there are a couple of people who, possibly with initial good intentions, have made thousands of memorials, and then refuse to edit, correct, link family members, or even be contacted in any way. I find it rude that they hold MY family members hostage by the China like "one child rule", and I am unable to link my family so my real family can find them. I love this site, but it is a long way from perfect and I hope they will come up with a merging solution or something else, if duplicates are such a plague to them.|

James W. Bobbitt, you would not happen to know IF he served/if it was with the 27th Missouri Mounted Infantry. There are 3 James Bobbitt's who were born in Pulaski, Kentucky/ then 2 of them married Nancy's and then they moved to Blackwater Missouri...#50584237. The muster card only has James Bobbitt, no age, joined in Johnson Co. Aug 1861...The only clue I have come to is there is no 1890 census for James Bobbitt Military...and James W. passed away 1880, the other James in 1904..??

Thank you so much - I felt bad they were separated, as Electa was very much in love with George.

I would like you to join my great-aunt and uncle, George and Electa Burgess. Both are buried in Pulaski but were married for life and resided in Burnside, Kentucky. They had no children.
Electa is a Dye and is the daughter of Thomas Marian Dye and Sarah Shadowen Dye, 87698912, sister of Lelia Dye Buaas 87736951, sister of Boyd and Herman Dye. There was also another sister, and I am trying to locate her.

Thanks so much.
Last time my mother was at that Cemetery Her stone did not have death date on it.
Some times people do not have them put on.
At some point my mother will go back over there from London and look for us
