Where is this cemetery located? There are a couple of photo requests (one from years ago), but I can't find any information on where this cemetery is. I figured you must know since you took pictures there! Thanks so much!

James & Dovie Standley
As you requested, I linked James as the husband of Dovie, and I decided to go ahead and transfer the management of the memorials to you so that you would be able to add information and family relationships in the future.

Best Wishes,
Erin Jenkins

Lucy A.S. Hereford
After reading Mr. Brasfield's message I went another direction and found the Hereford family farm and family cemetery in New Market, AL. While Lucy A.S. Hereford was NOT in the one I found, I did manage to find 2 living Hereford's, on living on the old family homestead. She showed me a family tree and was interested in finding out if your line and hers connect.
Her name is Susan Turner. Phone 256-379-3457. Website for her business:
I'm off to the West Coast for a few days but will look at the Routt-Wells Cemetery in Fayetteville, TN when I return.
All the Best!

Routt & Liberty Hill Cemeteries
I will also acknowledge your requests for photos from Routt and Liberty Hill Cemeteries in the area around North Huntsville on Find-A-Grave. I went out there this morning and took a number of "overview" photos of both cemeteries.

The Routt Cemetery appears to be mowed on a regular basis, but other than a few recent headstones, most are either unreadable or damaged beyond recognition. I was unable to locate markers for Lucy, Mary, or Lucinda Hereford. I did find a photo for a W.H. Hereford (1/25/1822 6/29/1904).

Across the road from the Routt Cemetery is the Liberty Hill Cemetery. It is in better condition, and I was able to locate an enclosed fenced area for the Mitchel family, including Charley M. Mitchel and took photos of his and of what are apparently his parents, Alex and Willie Mitchel.

The photos that I did take have been posted. I'm sorry that I couldn't do better.

RE: Burial Location of Georgia A. Averett
Since you are almost sure that she is there, I would just go ahead and create her a memorial with the correct dates. When I get back over there I will try to take photos of the graves. I do not do children unless there is a request. These are the only group of Averetts on the older side of the cemetery. The newer side has not been surveyed that I know of. It is huge. There are easily 10,000+ graves in all of this cemetery. Too much for me to tackle being 45 miles away.
