I love to do genealogy and believe in researching beyond the immediate family. I have researched siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and even the genealogy of the husbands of the cousins!|
I have surveyed almost all of the cemeteries in Wichita Co. TX and some in Clay and Archer and have taken headstone photos of all of them.
I have written 2 books called, "How Did They Die? Murders in Northern Texas, 1892-1927" and "How Did They Die? Murders in Northern Texas, 1927-1950, and my third book is called, "Views of the Past, Downtown Wichita Falls, Texas which is a picture books with over 375 photos from the downtown area."
I also am the owner of "Historical Tours in Wichita Falls, Texas where I give a downtown daytime tour, a night time downtown "dark side" tour and a Riverside Cemetery tour. See more at wftours.com

Hi, Julie. I noticed that you loaded the headstone photo for Gertrude Wirz, memorial 59924132. I was wondering if you would load the same photo for her husband Will, memorial 59924134. Thanks a lot.

Wanted to officially thank you for taking a second photo of the headstone, which shows all of the inscription name & date! How wonderful! And thank you for having the headstone dug up and reset. Now all of the inscription is displayed for all to see, with much thanks to you. Jean

Thank you for attempting to photograph a marker for Charles. I appreciate your letting me know the grave is not marked, and I have submitted a correction to annotate the memorial of this fact. I will also remove my photo request.

I see that you took a photo of G G Jackson in Riverside Cemetery - I think the birthdate is Aug 9th but the memorial has the 8th. I don't want to suggest a correction for something that doesn't need correcting but I think it's the marble that is making it look like an 8. Next time you are there for one of your tours - and they sound awesome, wish I was in TX - could you run your finger over it and check? Thanks in advance - LG

Many thanks for the photo and all you do for Find A Grave. Can you transcribe what is on the lower part of the stone? I can't quite make it out. Also, it appears the top part is broken. This makes me sad. I wonder if the cemetery caretakers ever repair broken stones?
