Waymon Boyd
Buck Boyd is my great uncle. My grandfather was Terry B. Boyd.

I wonder if you would mind transferring his obituary post (#35945334) to my management?

Thank you.

Sarah Cothran Noles
Sarah Cothran Noles is my great Aunt. Would you mind transferring her to me.

I would sure appreciate it.

There is a mess with the Cothran last name. After W.C. Cothron buried his first wife, he changed the spelling of his last name to Cothran. That is why all his children in Landrum spell their name Cothran. Somehow This needs to be fixed somehow. Any suggestions?

Alice Bishop Napper
I noticed That you have Alice as the child of Thomas and Elizabeth Babbington. According to family research by Paul Bishop she is the daughter of Thomas and his 2nd wife Rhosalinda Parker. They were married in Detroit 10 Nov 1846. Your ascertion that she is the daughter of Elizabeth may make sense if she died shortly thereafter and then he married Rhosalinda. Do you have any other information about this birth? Thanks for your research. Terri Huizenga

Louell Lamb Lovett
Hello BLB, here is a little additional info on Louella Lamb Lovett if you might like to add it to her memorial page.

Louella Lamb, born Sept. 24, 1881 Marshall County, Kentucky, was the daughter of Lowery Bishop Lamb and Martha Elizabeth Lamb (daughter of Thomas Lamb and Elizabeth M. Potts) and wife of Lee J. Lovett.Lowery Bishop Lamb and Martha Elizabeth (Bettie) Lamb were married Dec. 20, 1880 in Marshall County, Kentucky. Martha Elizabeth (nee Lamb) Lamb died about 1883 and Lowery Bishop Lamb married a second time to Minnie T. Lamb, a sister of his first wife, Martha Elizabeth Lamb. Lowery and Minnie were married Oct. 5, 1884 in Obion County, Tennessee.

RE: John Crockett Lane
You're more than welcome. I'll be happy to transfer his grave marker to you if you want to control it.
I'm just a picture taker and have no interest in controlling family markers. I did take pictures of all markers in the cemetery. You might want to go look at other markers. The GPS location of the cemetery is N36.85283, W088.03879. If you go to the Land Between The Lakes website ( find their Recreation Map and look on the right side of the National Park near the middle of the land mass and find "Energy Lake". Just left of the left end of Energy Lake you'll find the Ferguson Spring Cemetery where your G-G-Grandfather is buried.

RE: Virtual Cemetery - Bean
Hi it's a small world! Rev. Bean (my mother's brother) did have a church in Warren. So that is probably him. They lived up north for awhile and moved to Alabama to be closer to his wife's family. He got cancer and couldn't beat it. Mamye Judd (the memorial you created) is his mother's sister. His mother's name was Myrtie Bean, she is buried right above Mamye in Memorial Gardens - East. They went to Mitchel's church too, and probably knew your relatives. God Bless you and your family. J Freeman Hoberg

Noles Family
I am doing research into my family on my dad's side and am amazed at all the information you have discovered in the Noles family. My great grandparents were Wallace and Alma Noles from Gilbertsville. Do you have a family tree including the Noles on If so, I would love to check it out.

David Mayes
Thanks for the transfer. For years people, including me, thought he was the David May in Company I, 50th Tennessee Infantry, CSA. Then I checked the actual military service record of the David May in the 50th. It just doesn't add up with the ages so much different, etc., plus the record of my David Mayes being taxed by the Federal government just before the younger David May is conscripted in East Tennessee. Check the information I added on the FindAGrave memorial you transferred.

Co. I, 50th TN, CSA
May, David: Pvt.; conscripted 4/10/63 at Conscript Camp (most likely located near Knoxville, TN); on May/June 1863 Muster Roll as absent, sent to Hospital at Jackson, MS; on September/October 1863 Muster Roll as absent, sent to Jackson, MS; although absent, on 1/27/64 Muster Roll as age 20; NFR.
