I will be happy to transfer management of a memorial I manage and which is for someone for whom I am not a direct descendant. I would prefer to transfer memorials to a direct descendant of the people or someone with a close kinship. Just ask and indicate how you are a direct descendant or otherwise related.

Most of the memorials I have established and manage are are for people in one of my family lines.

I do my best to provide correct information, following the codes of ethics of my professions: Librarian, Archivist.

Hi Jean,
Transferred Anna Lloyd to you. I added the correct cemetery. As far as the Llyod-Loyd surname I find both spellings - its in my family tree. I lean towards Lloyd only because its how my Great Grandmother spelled it.

Annie Devlin #147671687
I corrected her maiden name. Thank you for the proper spelling. I try to be accurate and check several sources to get the surnames correct. Would you like management of Annie?

Edward Johnson Pension
Have you thought about ordering his Civil War pension? From the card index on line it appears his widow, Mary, outlived him as she filed for the application for a widow. The numbers are what you need to order the file.

Invalid Application #944068; Certificate #877442 - filed from Colorado
Widow Application #722313; Certificate #515263 - filed from New York

Gonsalves Johnson marriage
Since this is what you have in the bio for their marriage record:

Married Edward Johnson before 1868, probably at or near Washington, District of Columbia

Here is the link to their marriage record:

Find A Grave Memorial# 97883238

Your edit:
Edward Johnson
(1838 - ____)
Mary E. Gonsalves Johnson

Will be declined.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.

The memorials for the parents are burial unknown. Therefore, they do not meet the purpose of FindAGrave. FindAGrave is not a family tree linking site. There are other sites established for that purpose.

Thank you - RE: Athena Peterson
When I bought this, the guy had tried to give it to the historical society and they rejected it because it did not have enough reference referral to it and he tried the museum. Nobody wanted it. How crazy is that. I live in Texas and I have been able to search out dates, places and people just from the info that is there. From the list of people you gave, this is loaded with them. I bet the whole town of Waupaca is linked to everyone in this scrapbook. I just came across a pinkerton too. By the time I am finished, everyone will be documented in it. I would kill to walk the cemeteries in Waupaca

Thank you - RE: Athena Peterson
Thank you! I loved reading that and I figured the Cristy girls had to be local "famous" people. I think what you stated needs to be added to the memorial. May I add that or do you want to write out more about it and add it? The old Waupaca scrapbook I have is huge and heavy and I have only made a dent in it. I am taking one article at a time and adding the info in it to Find A Grave, Ancestry, relatives, etc to document it. That scrapbook was the best purchase I ever made and people would kill for it if they could find me LOL In the book, the note from the person who compiled it said she was concerned at who was going to get it and so wanted someone in her family who cared about it would acquire it. Who would have guessed that almost 100 years later, I am the one, far away in Texas, who cares about it. It is my baby! I had never heard of Waupaca until I got it and I buy anything and everything that would help me research the people of Waupaca. I am actually Waupaca's best friend.

I have a old Waupaca scrapbook from the 1910s and I have a fantastic article about this person. It describes a surprise party in her honor. I have added a scan of it to her memorial. Hope you enjoy it.
