Memorial #171864229
Jeffry, could you please take a look at this one? You submitted an edit request to add the maiden name, and another contributor sent the information I added to the bio. Can you confirm the correct spelling of her maiden name? Thank you so much, Kathy

Raphael Ferrandini
Jeffry,

Thank you for adding the photograph of Raphael Ferrandini. His monument is one of my favorites. I was prompted to do some more research and was able to connect him to Cipriano Ferrandini, his brother. The reward was learning on a personal level of the circumstances of the Lincoln in a shawl story. Cipriano is 118186651. I left a portrait and caption for him. Visit Raphael in June to see impressive black hollyhocks. Thanks again.

Thanks Jeffry. Picking up my 3 yr old grandson today for spring break. Will try to get all my edit requests caught up soon. Thank you for working together to get this cemetery finished. I have tried to prevent duplicate entries but still finding a few. The name spelling variations make for some challenges.

Denny grave marker
Hello and Thank You for all you do there, it's really appreciated as I have never been able to get there myself. While perusing the site today I found a miner error on 84003294 which states she had 14 children..There are actually 15 children, (my great grandfather is Douglas P. Denny). Also, if you ever have time, I would deeply appreciate a translation of the grave marker on #84005481. I think got most of it but under the name of Matilda W. Denny there is a name I can't read.
Thank you,
Mary Ann

Mt. Calvary to Riverview moves
Jeffry,

I have sent 3 requests to move memorials from Mt. Calvary to Riverview. I think I caught all the changes needed at 3.

Thanks for your help.

Mt. Calvary & Riverview in Richmond
Jeffry,

Need some help. A friend and I are shooting 100% of Riverview Cemetery in Richmond. Yeah, I know, a big task. We finished 100% of Mt. Calvary last year. During our shoot of Mt. Calvary we had the superintendent, Jim Glass, and his ground crew walk us along the boundary between Mt. Calvary and Riverview so we would know who was in Mt. Calvary and who was in Riverview. I agree the line between the two cemeteries is rather nebulous but after walking it with them it is obvious to us as we shoot. The other nice thing is the Mt. Calvary website electronically lists all the burials in Mt. Calvary so you can check on line to verify if a burial is in Mt. Calvary or not.

With that said, I have come across several memorials you created in Mt. Calvary that are actually in Riverview. I discovered this fact by accident as I was chugging along posting tombstone photos and realized I was working in Mt. Calvary instead of Riverview. I think I had followed one of your links for a spouse and it took me from Riverview into Mt. Calvary without me realizing it at the time.

So, I will need to work backwards a bit to ascertain exactly which memorials I worked in Mt. Calvary that are actually in Riverview.

All this rambling to say I will be sending you some “Please move to Riverview” edits shortly.

Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave.
