RE: Jerimiah W. W. Pearson
Always room for doubt. I would just make a notation the some believe that he is the one buried in the Confederate Cemetery. - dennis

RE: Jeremiah Pearson
Yes. Family stores are not always accurate. In my years of genealogy research one some times has to ignore stores and look at the facts. It is hard for me to believe that a wounded soldier could walk from Elk Tavern area or Pea Ridge to Elm Springs. It is more likely that his body was hauled to Fayetteville or carried there after he died at Elm Springs. The Confederate Army was in retreat after the battle. The Union Army occupied Elm Springs at one time. This may have been prior to the Battle of Prairie Grove. Not sure about the battle dates. - dennis

Allen County Hunt cemetery and LAMB
Do you know of any Lamb's buried in this cemetery?

Have photo of grave markers for William Lamb, d 1870 or 1874 and his wife Sarah (Wheat) Lamb who died shortly before William, I believe. Don't remember exact date right now. Anyway, the are buried on the cemetery that was one time known as the Bob Hunt Farm Cemetery. (Bob Married a granddaughter of William and Sarah Lamb.) am wondering if this is the same cemetery. Originally it was the farm of William and Sarah (Wheat) Lamb, is now a cow pasture and the last I hear of it, farm as owned by a Mennonite family.

Elizabeth Matilda Porter Hunt - Parents
I noticed that the grave information for Elizabeth Matilda Porter Hunt #27699149 did not have links to her parents Andrew Jackson Porter and Lucy H. Cornett. If you'd like to add these links, they are: Andrew #31200730 and Lucy #31200743. Hope this helps! Thanks! Dot
