Cathy, I have photographed every stone in this cemetery. I did not find a stone for Ezra, but I have a photo of a curb stone that reads Ezra Comfort. In that plot is a Stone for Lisetta Fish, but the dates are different. They are both in the same photo. Do you want me to use it for you request?

Hello; I'll delete mine and you can put them in the cemetery. No relation to me. Thank you for the info.

Hello again, William J is Lucinda's son. I found obituaries for him and his father. I can't find the older William's grave, but will stop at cemetery tomorrow and have them look for him. I also believe John Brown is in Wyuka, but can't remeber anything else till i get back to my computer tomorrow. The senior William was an auctioneer early on, then started selling used furniture in downtown Lincoln and son William took over business till he passed, if I remember correctly. I'm set on finding the older William. More later. Kevin.

Hello Cathy, Sadly, neither Philo or Cordelia have markers. I usually go to the cemetery office and see who is in the plot if there are few markers. I am wondering if you are familiar with the Brown's children. Space 4 belongs to an Aria L. Flanagan who was born in 1860. In the 1870 census, Philo has a daughter "A L" and a son "J W" who is 2. I also found a Nebraska marriage of William Flanagan and a Lucinda Brown. Then in 1880, William and Lula are still in Lincoln with her brother John Brown who is 12. And, W H Flanagan owns all three spaces. Looks like the Aria next to Philo could be his daughter, What do you think? Thanks. Kevin.

You may find this of interest. This is the son of Melinda and Joseph, as the sister matches the child in Melinda's obituary. Save it and include it if you ever find John's findagrave entry. No need for a citation to me if you do....

Kitchen - Foster
Mr. John Kitchen and Miss Annie A. Foster, were quietly married June 12th in Trinity Church, Wilmington, by the Rev. H. Ashton Henry. The couple were unattended. The bride wore a traveling suit of gray cloth. Only immediate relatives and a few friends were present. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Kitchen started on a trip to Old Point Comfort, Washington and Richmond. Mr. and Mrs. Grant, a sister of the groom, accompanied them. They received many elegant gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Kitchen will be "at home" at 623 West Fifth street after June 30th.
