RE: Callie Williams Ogle
Hi - I've been searching for ancestors of those buried in the Brush Creek Cemetery in Smith Co, TN. There are Ogles buried there and Callie was one of John Ogle's 3 wives. His 2nd wife who is buried in Smith Co was also a Williams, but not a sister to Callie. I probably would not have found John & Callie except that he was linked back to his 1st wife who is also buried in Smith Co.

I then was trying to determine what became of Callie's parents and found Lucy Boulton. This is what I found on Callie:

Name Callie S Williams
Event Type Marriage
Event Date 02 May 1881
Event Place Wilson, Tennessee,
Gender Female
Spouse's Name Sneed S Witt
I don't know what happened to Mr. Witt, but he probably died in Wilson County.
1900 Wilson Co TN Census
Mrs. Callie Witt Head F 36 Tennessee
Myrtle Witt Daughter F 12 Tennessee
Harriet Williams Mother F 71 Tennessee
James Parrish Boarder M 45 Wisconsin
Name Callie Witt
Event Type Marriage
Event Date 07 Sep 1904
Event Place Wilson, Tennessee,
Gender Female
Spouse's Name John Ogle
I can't locate a 1910 census, nor did I find Myrtle.
1920 Canadian County, OK
John Ogle Head M 77 Tennessee
Callie S Ogle Wife F 55 Tennessee

Richard Lane
Hello! I am very interested in Richard Lane who is buried in Mason County, Illinois as I believe he may be a brother of Tidence W. Lane who was one of my husband's director ancestors. Do you have information on other Lanes that Richard may be have been related to in Mason County? I believe Tidence moved to Mason County around 1850 and died there in 1852. His younger children were left in the care of his oldest son, James Lane, who later lived in Schuyler County, Illinois. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

Francis C. Wimbish Barksdale
Just letting you know that I've changed the information on her entry to read that she was married in Pittsylvania Co., Va., and that her husband was Nathaniel V. Barksdale.

I've also added the info about her father.

(I don't know where I got my information either, as it's been awhile since I put her entry in there---but it seems like I had read something about her or her husband somewhere on the internet.)

Would you happen to know where her husband is buried so that I can connect her to him???

Thank you for the corrections.
