Dear Find A Grave friends,|
This Account is dedicated in Honor of Men and
Women who have lost their life in the course
of War. ღ
"Lest we Forget"
We lost our beloved dog on 31 Aug 2014.
It's like losing a child.
We are touched by the Generosity and Great Compassion of our FAG Friends
for sponsoring our loved-ones Memorials.
I wish to express my thanks and appreciation for the beautiful images you place on my memorials.
They are really gorgeous and I admire your lovely icons. They are uplifting and beautiful.
I am very sure that the holy spirits of our loved ones gleam a little bit more everytime they receive our loving thoughts.
~ I WISH TO THANK ALL THE FINDAGRAVE VISITORS WHO PLACE GIFTS ON MY HUSBAND ROBERTO'S GRAVE. ~
I am unable to visit your pages individually to say thank you, but you are precious to me and my family.
Thank you again for coming to visit Roberto.
Your generous love and respect touches us in a very real way. We have still not recovered from our loss and our sorrow is deep and lasting. There are good days and there are days when the heart mourns like that first moment.
The one thing which remains with me when I visit the grave of a person, be it in person or via this amazing website is the secrets that go with that person to their grave. Some things we will never know, and we can no longer ask.....every grave holds a thousand unanswered questions. We are left behind by the personal effects of a loved one who has passed on, their material world, however past that, we can only wonder...or imagine, or fabricate explanations. A grave is a mysterious place to visit with it's own fascination. At the same time, it is the one reality after being born, to be dead is a certainty like no other. A life changing certainty for those left behind to look and wonder...what happened...and contemplate for a long long time.
THE BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew that morning that God would call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
If you have a moment please visit our dear friend Pvt Reginald James Pashley, who died at age 20 in the First World War.
We can never forget this brave young man. Forever in our hearts they will remain.
A life never lived.
Please Visit *** If you have some time ***
Pvt Reginald James Pashley

Dear 'Who Art in Heaven', you have placed a very large display on my grandmother's memorial page, Dessie Muriel Mickler Bledsoe (#74535520). Your profile states that your 'Account is dedicated in Honor of Men and Women who have lost their life in the course of War'. While your intentions are to be commended, none of my immediate family has lost their life in War, and I would truly appreciate your reconsideration to discretely remove your 3 large displays from her page. Over the years, I feel certain that you are not familiar with any of my family, and your sentiments might be more appreciated on those that are personal to you. I respectfully thank you for reconsidering, Chiquita (#47559633).

Thank you so much for your note. I have recovered and am doing well. Guess I had better change my bio. Mostly I am not here due to moving. Have a great day.
I want to offer you my most sincere apology for not being here sooner (was away dealing with hubbys health issues) to thank you for your visit with my dear sister Mars and the beautiful token you left for her, the visit was greatly appreciated,
Beast wishes from Ireland
