Bio and Links
I am a volunteer researcher for many projects, one of them being officers killed in the line of duty in South Texas and surrounding areas for the various police memorials. I am trying to locate as many of their final resting places as I can, most of them sadly already gone, in hopes of keeping their memory alive. I also research local history and genealogy and try to help others with historical or genealogical information all of which are subjects that I enjoy. All history to me is very interesting and if you have a story to tell, I'm willing to listen!

Most of the biographical information I use for some of my burial contributions I obtain through various documents such as death certificates, marriage records and mostly newspaper archives. If you see any inaccuracies or discrepancies, please don't hesitate to let me know so I may adjust the necessary entry. If you have any information or stories or are related to any of the officers or people I have listed, I would love to hear from you! God Bless!

Photo request for Martina Gonzalez
Hello! I saw your photo request at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. So sorry to hear your request had been deleted, that wasn't very helpful was it!
What you'll need to do is contact the cemetery directly and request the specific section and lot number information. This cemetery is HUGE, and without at least a specific section it impossible to locate a grave. The cemetery is not cooperative with photo volunteers, but they will provide relatives with plot information (and in some cases they have emailed maps as well). Their website is forestparklawndale dot com, and their phone is 713-928-5141. Be sure to confirm with them whether a gravemarker is present.
Kind regards,

Browne, James A
I too am photographing the Old City Cemetery in Brownsville. I see you have a memorial for James Browne, would you add Section 54 to the burial information? Thanks, David Parsons

Hey Belinda, thanks for inviting me the other day to SB Cemetery. I was unable to go. My husband's aunt died and was buried today. I do want to go with you and keep up the information gathering. Best Wishes :)
