I found the news paper articular from Aug 19 1921 on JW if you would like it to add to the page
|Vanessa Lew||Raley Family|
I just wanted to thank you for all of your contributions on the Find A Grave website! I'm a Raley/Anderson descendant and MANY of my relatives are buried at Pleasant Valley. Polly Anderson was my great(x3) grandma, and your bio about her was very interesting. We have LONG speculated about the identity of my great(x3) grandpa.
I wish I could have met Elsie Raley to ask her why Polly couldn't marry Ollie's father. It's lead to a dead end with my genealogical research. In the event you come across any additional details about the family, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you so much for all of your efforts getting this information online!
|Janet Sinclair||RE: John H. Finley|
Thank you for finding my error. I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote that. They were actually married on 18 February 1877 and had 1 daughter Rosa May. After John's death Margaret married John Wesley Decker and had 4 additional children. Margaret is supposed to be buried in the Syracuse Cemetery, but I have no proof of that. Sorry for the mistake. It has been corrected on John Finley's page.
