I'm a Colorado native who served for twenty two years in the Navy throughout the world. Family genealogy has always been one of my keen interests in life. It has been my way of giving back to our long lost ancestors. This site will help capture and preserve our family's history. I'm now retired and live in Nevada with my understanding wife, Kay Marie Powell, nee Finley. I live in the Las Vegas area and would be glad to assist others with obtaining photo's of your ancestors grave sites in or around the Las Vegas area.|
Thank you and God bless,
David O. Powell
CWO2, U.S. Navy

mr- Wilson Co, KS
Elizabeth Burrows (Sarah Elizabeth Burrows)
Name David B. Jarred
Birth Date 1855
Spouse's Name Elizabeth Burrows
Spouse's Birth Date 1861
Spouse's Age 18
Event Date 12 Feb 1879
Event Place Wilson, Kansas
They had a child, Roxanne Lena Jarred b. Dec 1879. He left or divorced? and Sarah E. Burrous married George Page Jul 1885 Eldorado, KS. The family story tells that Roxanne took the Page name but died on her way to Greenwood Co, KS. I have not been able to find out anything about David Jarred or the burial of Roxanne. I appreciate your input. Rita

It was my pleasure; created a memorial for her son and added his stone and a picture of him. We set a stone for my baby sister who died in 1943 and I decided to check the cemetery for any photo requests; we were able to do 3 out of the 5 but took other pictures of stones and hopefully they aren't already on the memorial + created 2 memorials that weren't on Find A Grave. First I want to thank you for your service. Thank you. I was wondering if I could use the photo you posted on Helen in a private family tree?
Best wishes, Heather
