Bio and Links
Bio Photo Grateful thanks to those who have left flowers at my memorials and special thanks to those of you who contribute so greatly to the genealogical community by taking gravestone photos and posting them at this site.

I started researching my family history in 1997.

The way people lived a few generations ago, and the times they lived in, has always been of enormous interest to me, even as a small child. The most ordinary events of everyday life fascinate me.

Researching family history has given me satisfaction in ways I can neither fathom nor explain.

I only know that I am absolutely looney about these people I've never met. They deserve to be remembered and to have their place in history.

I live in Kern County, California.

RE: Baltus Malone/Hannah Lisenby
My e-mail is

Baltus Malone was named after his mother's father.
He was a son of Cuthbert Williamson Malone.

Father born Va., to Ky, then to Illinois by memory.

Let me know if interested in this.

I can document Cuthbert Williamson Malone probably of Mecklenburg Co., Va....he witnesses a Fairfield Co., SC deed for a William Malone there in 1794.
The Malones of Union Dist., SC of interest with this line also. I am especially interested in perhaps a link with the surname Lisenby, wife of Baltis-as I see this as a first name in a family associated with the Malones.

It is from a county cemetery inventory made by volunteers from the county historical society. They researched obits and did a physical inventory of each cemetery in the county.

Robert Jean McDaniel Date of Death
Hi Judy, I have been working on photographing the Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, OK. I am currently adding the photos and noticed you did not enter the Date of Death for Robert Jean McDaniel. Would you mind adding the date shown on the Grave Marker. Thanks
