|Robert Ralph||Zella Thomas Stansfield|
My name is Bob Ralph. My grandmother Martha Thomas was the daughter of Herbert Gibbons Thomas. His sister Zella Ann Thomas was born in Wales in May of 1877. Through a family history left to me by Paul Silas Thomas, I learned that his father Herbert Gibbons Thomas had a sister who died in a house fire caused by a candle on a Christmas tree causing an explosion. Through my research, I found that Zella Thomas Stansfield died a few days before Christmas in 1905 from burns from a gas explosion where her infant son Henry was also burned. Zella Thomas Stansfield was born in England in May of 1877 according to the 1900 US Census. I was reading your entries for John, Zella, and Infant Stansfield on Findagrave and saw that the Infant Stansfield (1898-1898) was first buried in plot S-23 in Oakwood cemetery in Sharon, PA and later was moved to G-16 where John and Zella Thomas Stansfield are buried.
I was wondering where you got the info about moving the baby's remains from S-23 to G-16. If this is true and can be verified, that would prove that Zella Thomas Stansfield and Zella Ann Thomas are the same person since S-23 was owned by Jerome and Margaret Thomas Davis (sister of my great grandfather Herbert Gibbons Thomas) and was used to bury their infant children. So, it appears that when Infant Stansfield died that Margaret allowed her sister Zella's child to be buried there as well. That conclusively proves to me that Zella Thomas Stansfield was my great grandfather's sister Zella Ann Thomas.
Thank you for helping me with this.
