RE: Alene Cameron
Hello!
I found her headstone there with her husband Vernon. The Cameron family was my husband's family and I have done their family research way back. I just can't find her McKown family.

Deborah Butler Wells
You made the following statement:

This might be my paternal great-great grandmother. I'm still doing research.

I'm not sure what you are researching. If it's the Butler connection, I can confirm you are correct.

I am trying to trace Nancy Poston Slane Married to Elias Slane. Unfortually her "only" child Thomas died very young. M ancesters were the Poston's . The Poston's and Slanes' were neighbors in what is now Hapshire County WVA. They moved to Indiana. My line is Elias Poston From MD,Va,Ky,In, some went further west.

RE: Harold Glenn Wells
No, Harold is alive and in reasonably good health. His brother Gerald passed away in 2007. I tried sending you an email to the address listed in findagrave, but it came back as undeliverable. I would like to get your thoughts about William A Wells' parents. Rather than corresponding as a public message on findagrave, could you reply directly to my email address of: lerjstegner@columbus.rr.com , then it will make it easier for us to exchange messages. Thanks.

Ancestors of William A Wells
I am trying to find information on the ancestors of Harold Glenn Wells (who I believe is your biological uncle). I am hoping that you may be able to solve a mystery for me. Leave me a message at this website. Thank you.
