|My name is Cheryl. I lost my third child, Madison Marie, when she died at birth on March 4, 2004. Many may say that I didn't get a chance to know her...but they are wrong. I carried her for nine months and knew her personality. She felt my love and I felt hers. We were bonded from the time the pregnancy test came back positive. She will always be my lil girl.|
Maddy and I share more than our middle name. We share our birthdays. My birthday has not been the same since 2004. I spend that day remembering and honoring my precious daughter that is so very loved and missed.
I appreciate all those that visit Maddy's grave and leave her gifts and notes. It brings me so much comfort to know she is not forgotten.

I hope the thoughts and prayers of a stranger can help ease this coming Christmas season at least just a little.
Hi Cheryl. My sister just lost her baby on November 6, 2007 for no apparent reason either. That poem on Madison's site sums it up best. We had so many plans for my niece, Marianna. She was going to be the first baby for me or my sisters. She was only 2 weeks from her baby shower when she called with the news that she couldn't feel her move any longer. My heart goes out to you, I know, because my heart hasn't began to heal myself, and she was just my niece, I can't imagine it being my child. My niece's site is on here too, if you'd like to visit it, her name is Marianna Lee Reed.

God bless you. Have a wonderful Christmas and a joyous New year.
