Thank you so much the photo of Joel Carpenter's headstone. It's a very cool photo with all the leaves in front. Thank you for all your work on Find A Grave!
|Ray Cannata||Mariah Fisher|
Her maiden name on the death record looks more like EIkenberg than EIkenberry to me. And Eikenberg would fit better with the ethnicity of the rest of her family names.

I couldn't see the Bates at the top of the headstone. I guess I'm blind. I only saw the Alice. Sorry about that. I'm glad you double checked it. Bates, Alice, and Emily are siblings. There were 2 other kids, but they are not buried in this cemetery.

I noticed that the photo on Bates Hungerford's memorial page is that of his sister Alice, not for Bates. Please remove the photo as it appears there is a photo for Bates Hungerford and there is not.
|Michael Moore||Carpenter Children who died young - Dalesville|
I visited Dalesville Cemetery this past weekend and photographed every stone there. I'm filtering through them now, trying to upload stones that there are specific photo requests for (I'll get the rest uploaded over the coming winter).
Concerning the 4 children of George Carpenter and Sarah Haney, they are inscribed on the ends (sides) of their parents' stone. Thomas and George are at the south-facing end, and lichen growth has made it almost impossible to read the dates.
If you would like me to send you the originals of all the photos I took of this stone, just send me an email and let me know your email address. I have about a dozen photos of the stone.

Can you traqnscribe this stone? Please and thank you.

If you're interested, after a very quick search, it appears that Preston Sr's daughter is Mae Irving. Preston Jr's obit lists M.J. Irving as a surviving sister.

There were 4 in the Preston family plot. Yes, Preston Sr. was there. The forth is Ruby. Memorials with pics have now been made for those two. I'd be happy to transfer them to you, if you'd like.
Also the reverse side of the Porter family marker is the Irving family. There are 4 of them there (Blanche, Mae, Willard, and William.) Pics have also been added to those memorials as I assume they are also family.

|Michael Moore||Archibald McFaul's birthdate|
Hello Again Dennis:
Although his tombstone is engraved with a birthdate of Sept 22 1839, his baptismal record states that he was born June 29 1839.
I have amended the birthdate to June 29, added a marker transcription note mentioning the difference, and uploaded an image of his baptismal record.
