Elizabeth Haines
Also, she died in 1899 whereas William died in 1904. The article states her husband died 2 years before her.

Elizabeth Petitt Haines

The newspaper clipping you have for Elizabeth Petitt Haines is not the correct Elizabeth Haines. This paper says they adopted 4 children and had none of their own. She and her husband William Ashley Haines did have children. It is well documented that they had 8 children in fact.

There is no date on your clip as well. This is surely for a different Elizabeth. The newspaper clipping for William however is correct.

Thanks for the information.....I located a death notice in Phila. Inquirer. The location of burial is just listed as Cedarville. I will put him in Cedar Hill cemetery with a notation.

RE: Eunice Riley Edwards
Maybe this Daniel and Rebecca were two totally different people. Not everyone recorded their respective names into census' past. I have poured over many a past census record as well as information recorded by my family over the years, and there is always a possibility that names were changed, left out, and/or forgotten. By the way, are you related to the Riley family or related families?

All the info I have entered has been in my family for years (i.e. Bible records, etc.), so...

RE: Eunice Riley Edwards
Thank-You...I made a mistake on the Riley lineage. According to info that has been passed down in my family for generations, Eunice was the daughter of Rebecca Wood Riley by her husband William, but I found that Eunice was born before William and Rebecca married; Rebecca was married twice, first to Daniel Riley thence to his brother William.
