Thank you very much for searching Hockessin Cemetery for my Sharpless ancestor's tombstones. I'm so sorry you couldn't find them. I know for a fact that they were buried there, but I guess they didn't have a tombstone. I very much appreciate your trying!

Bill, My grandmother was Vernie Smothers, born in Kentucky in 1908 and later moving to Illinois. Her father, Thomas, was also from Kentucky. I have pictures of her from the 1920's. I would so appreciate your help in trying to identify her and hopefully end my search for her. Thank you, Karl in Alameda, CA

The tombstone photo you added is for the son of this man. Can I suggest you create a new entry for the son (your picture), add the stone photo to that one and remove it from this one?
You can even link your new entry to his father, above.

Thank you for looking in Center Monthly meeting cemetery for them. I will keep researching and see if maybe they are unmarked or what records may show their burial location. Your volunteer time has not gone unnoticed. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for trying to find Sam Gregg's stone. Probably deteriorated beyond recognition.

Thank you again for searching for William Hulett at Hockessin Friends Meeting. The last I saw his stone was in the early 1980's. It was very small and very worn so it is likely that it no longer exists or is so worn from the elements that it is illegible. Thank you for all your efforts.
