Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Elk Co., PA

I am researching my Meredith and Lipsey ancestry (PA, Scotland).

I've posted my basic Meredith & Lipsey family tree at

I've added many many more Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles and Cousins since that posting, and am always looking for more. I think (almost positive) our Elijah Meredith was the son of David and Elinor Garrett Meredith of Whiteland Twp., Chester CO., PA. That David Meredith was the son of David and Sarah "Aurelia" Rush Meredith. But the connection between our Elijah and the David from Whiteland Twp has yet to be proven! Even through the use of DNA testing I can't find a link. Meredith DNA testing was done through

For my Lipsey line I think (no proof) that our Thomas Lipsey b. about 1807 Ireland was the son of a James Lipsey. Our Thomas Lipsey migrated from Ireland to Scotland abt 1850. Our Thomas Lipsey and all his family immigrated to PA about 1880.

Please contact me if you think you might be a cousin. Would love to share!

RE: Thomas C Lipsey & Rebecca
I do not see that I have a memorial created for either Thomas or Rebecca. Why do you ask?

John Green
Hello Bess, I have been researching the family line of John Green 12 Oct 1799 - 23 Oct 1883, buried in the Elkton Cemetery in Kearsey, and I noticed that you requested management of his memorial. Does he fit in your line? Actually I am more interested in his great-grandson, Ira Edwin Green, 1 Aug 1883 in Elk County - 9 May 1905 in Centre Co. Ira was hanged for murdering the jail keeper. I have not been able to connect Ira to my tree. My Green ancestors lead me back to Elk County, but I have not been able to make the tie. The thing that peaks my interest in Ira is because my dad's and my middle names are Ira. There are no other Ira's that have shown up in my research.

Rogers family
Hi !
A quick note. I'm descended from Joseph Rogers' half-brother, Uriah Rogers buried in Ridge Cemetery, Kersey. My grandfather, Burr A. Thompson was born on the outskirts of Kersey in 1889 and came here (Trumbull Co.,Ohio) in 1909. I've communicated with "cousin" Kari Mohn, who kindly shared her Rogers photo collection.

Surnames in Elk & Clearfield Cos that I research: Thompson, Frantz, Rogers, Jordan, Bloom, Taylor, Sweeney & many families who "married into" the preceding. I have information about the identity of Joseph and Uriah's father and am gathering "proof. Contact me if you are interested.
