Bio and Links
Bio Photo After Years of doing Genealogy I have recently gotten involved in cemetery preservation. I like to find headstones that are not legible and restore them back to readable conditions. I Especially like to find Civil War Veterans graves and restore them and document. Will photograph any tombstone in the Halifax, PA area and will transfer ownership of any memorial that is not a relation to myself.

Thanks for catching Florence's last name. I am working from burial records and after receiving your edit I checked them and realized they listed her under both Shearer and Sheaffer.

RE: Maxwell Family Headstones
You are welcome. I will add the pictures for those you requested tomorrow hopefully. I wanted to go back in the morning with sun to see if they were any brighter.
Also, in this Maxwell plot area, there is a small stone which is unreadable and I also can't account for it in the cemetery records. I noticed on your bio that you restore stones---do you have any suggestions for me on how to safely clean this small stone? I can send a picture so you can see what it looks like now.

Hi Michael. I saw that you added a memorial for Susie Moses Jones in Washburn Street Cemetary. Have you bee able to find her headstone? She is my great-great grandmother.

Just above the photo should be the transfer link.

RE: Mary Ellen (Sheaffer) Jones
Hi Mike:

This is Kim Mollah. We have talked before on line. I decend from Rose Scheaffer who married Isaac Zeigler. I have a family tree named Zeigler on Ancestry if you have access. We were going to meet at my Aunts house for a picnic but then your son had a championship game. We should try to get together again. Maybe in Sept as my August is pretty full. My email is Can you email me so I can get yours and arrange a picnic. On May 17 2012 my father died. He is missed terriably. You would have liked him. Everyone did.

Thanks for the info on Wm. & Nellie. I made the changes and then transferred the memorials to you. I have some more info on Sheaffers buried in the area. If you would like it please let me know.
