Roots is my hobby and you could always find me at a graveyard, courthouse, or somewhere collecting data, but due to lung cancer and removal of a lung, I am stuck at home mostly. I am still collecting data and please let me know of mistakes or transfers you need. God Bless!
The names I mainly research are: Beavers, Barrett, Barnett, Altizer, Seabolt, Waldron, Crawford, Davidson, Roberts, Skeens, Denny, McCready, Whitley, Harman, Moore, Kiser, Jessee, G(h)ent.....

If you find a mistake, please let me know so I can correct it.

John Floyd Gillespie #111365561
I believe, from death certificate & the book "Harman Genealogy (Southern Branch)", this is the son of Henry H. Gillespie and Nancy B. Harman not Thomas S. & Mariah Peery Gillespie. The maiden name of his wife Mary Ann was Gillespie not Thompson. His first name may have been James but of that I am not sure. Thank you.

Just thought you should know - Memorial # 17119627 has a sister Margaret "Peggie" (Harman) Belcher born around August 1862 to 24 March 1935. I believe they also had brothers Mathias JR (1849), Jonathan (1852) and William (1850). She had 2 children - Dan (1885-ukn) and Sam Ray "Ray" (1880-1954) Harman, they both took the Whitt name. Peggie married William Belcher on 1 March 1899. Then she had Paris Belcher (1901-1958) and Bennie Belcher (1899-1945).

I know their parents where Henry A. & Christina Harman, (married on 26 August 1847) would you happen to know who their parents are?

Leonard Waldron
He was not the son of Gus Waldron and Viola Bailey Waldron, this is my family so I know they had 3 sons James, John and Clifford, not Leonard.

Gladys Cornwell Newman # 24394301
Virginia - I just want to check on the grave of Gladys Cornwell Newman # 24394301. She was the wife of John Henry Newman. You clearly show a headstone for John Newman. However not one for Gladys. Is there a cemetery record for her burial? I ask because I just viewed the West Virginia Death Index for Gladys and it gives the burial place as "Bluefield Cemetery" in Bluefield, West Virginia.

I've seen cases where a family seemed to change their mind (after a death record was created) and bury the person in a different location. Just wanting to know if this was the case here.
