I have been working on my family's genealogy since 1992 and I have been a member of Find-A-Grave for over 16 years. At the present time, I have over 45,600 individuals in my personal genealogy files, which includes Presidents, Kings, Queens, Movie Stars, Sports Figures, Mayflower Passengers and tragically, a Titanic victim. |
I do not do bulk entries on Find-A-Grave...I am only trying to research, find and connect as many members of my IMMEDIATE family as possible. To that end, I may request ownership of memorials of my family from other Find-A-Grave members...and I sincerely thank you in advance for transferring ownership of them.
Here are my parents:
I have enjoyed roaming many cemeteries in central Utah for over 9 years. I have now moved to the Alabama Gulf Coast where I have temporarily retired from doing genealogy. Once I start up again, I will be more than happy to take pictures for anyone that requests them. I will do my best to get a very professional picture of a gravestone for you.
Any of the pictures that I have posted to findagrave.com can be used by anyone for whatever volunteer purpose they would like. However, please do not use the pictures if they will be used for a for-profit purpose.

Hi Dan, thanks for your work on Find A Grave. There is a correction I'd like you to make on the picture of the marker for those who were given their final resting place in Spring Lake, Utah. The cemetery is still in Spring Lake. None of the graves were moved. The monument was erected along the highway where there is an easement for parking. I attended the re-dediucation of the graves on 30 Aug 1997. I have signed documents confirming that NONE of the 18 people on the marker were moved to the Pioneer Heritage Cemetery, Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah, USA; Salem Cemetery, Payson Cemetery and Santaquin. I am so grateful for people like you who are doing all you can to preserve history so we can all enjoy our heritage. Pam Smith 801-756-9872

You're welcome, Dan. I think it is really nice you are keeping track of the guys and adding their high school photos to their pages. I see you have one more request for Thomas Whitman @ Resurrection. I hope to get that for you this weekend.
|Colleen German||RE: Tony Blessner|
You are very welcome!
Thought I'd pass along a little piece of information. The obituary on Tony's memorial page said burial would be in Calvary Cemetery. When I checked the Archdiocese website for his plot information so I could fulfill the photo request, it said he was buried in Resurrection Cemetery, which is across the street. And indeed, this is where he is buried. I contacted the creator of his page to advise him of the mistake (apparently by the funeral home), and he has made the correction. He also changed the obituary to read Resurrection instead of Calvary. This was the second time this year I have run into this problem.

Thank you so much! I think the flickering candle is especially fitting for these memorial pages.
Also, check out the memorial pages for Donald P Harshbarger, your Aunt Marie, and Arthur Lewell Harshbarger. I added vintage photos!

Hello Dan Convery! You must be a nephew of my Aunt Marie! I am a cousin of Donald P Harshbarger, and I really like the candle and sentiment you have on his grave page. May I ask how you did that? All I can see that can be done is place flowers. If you don't mind, I would like to know how to place the flickering candle, or where to get it so I put on the graves of special people.
Thank you. Susan K Richard, one of the Pennsylvania relatives. I will never forget dear Aunt Marie!
