I have been doing genealogy for about 20 years. Ten years ago I retired from work as a banker after over 40 years. Then I began doing cemeteries as a new profession. The pay stinks but I do feel I'm contributing and the "thank you" emails keep me going. If you have photos of your relatives, please add them to their grave sites. Any corrections, additions, etc . . .let me know, please.|
PLEASE send corrections/requests by clicking the "EDIT" tab at the top right corner of the memorial page. Then click "suggest a correction or provide additional information". For transfers please state your relationship and include your member number. I sometimes miss messages posted below, so you'll have much better luck emailing me through the "edit" function.

We have posted a picture of the lot where Myrtle's parents and brother are buried and also where an illegible marker is located in space one which is likely her burial space. If you have more accurate info please let us know.

Sorry. I must have credited and sent a message to an incorrect contributor. I deleted your contact information from the memorial.

Do you think the W S McCoy on the same tombstone is her son Winfield Scott McCoy?

Oh, I just checked and it's gone...don't know who fixed it, but that's good! Thanks for you help!
|Marge||RE: James T Hughes #105643068|
I had to formally submit a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to determine if the James T Hughes buried in Arlington National Cemetery is the same as the James T Hughes buried in Phoenix. Awaiting their response.

I believe that you are correct that James was born in Phoenixville Pa. He is also listed as being in Phoenixville Pa in the 1900 census. James was my Uncle's first cousin and the family story is that he was gassed in WWI and died from pulmonary disease as a result. Additionally I believe that James may have been moved to Arlington National Cemetery? I found a James T Hughes who died the same day (5/21/1940) and was buried in Arlington about 2 months later (07/17/1940). How can I find out if he was moved from Evergreen Memorial Park to Arlington?

Thank you for the info regarding his death certificate. Posted it on his memorial page and processed your edits. Keep up the good work. Also, please remember, if I don't respond or process the info you have provided it is because we are traveling. I always try to respond to you first since I know you research and verify!
