My Roots run deep in Southwest Missouri, Northwest Arkansas, and Northeast Oklahoma. I REALLY appreciate all the hard work by contributors on this Site. It's terrific!

I have managed quite a few files for over a year now and, while I still love this site, I have become quite frustrated with some folks whose expectations are that "just because they say so" I will change information! I research and document all information I post. If you have a reference, I will be more than happy to add your information and reference you.

I will not update your opinion as fact, however. I also will not respond to rude or argumentative emails and will delete any posts that are left that are rude. Let's all work together to keep this site happy, positive, and accurate!

David W. Reeves
Wondering if the David Reeves buried in South West City Cemetery is from my family tree. If you are or know some of his family I would like to find out if I have the right David Reeves. My email is or please a public message on my profile. Thank you for your time and hard work. chrissie

John N. Surber Mem. # 6741920
Hi Raylene,

I am wondering if you could make a few corrections to this memorial for me. His name was John William Surber and he passed May 17, 1980. He was my great uncle.

Thank you,

Denise Chunestudey Cornell

RE: George Line
Hi Raylene, I think we may have corresponded some in the past. I don't remember how I was lucky enough to become the caretaker of Franky's memorial. But I have tried to add what I could to Dana's information. My ancestor Teresa Richey Campbell was half-sister to Franky Hale Line. If you would look at Franky's memorial again and make sure I've corrected it the way you want I would appreciate it. I didn't know for sure if you wanted me to remove the reference to Sarah's marriage to JKP Moore and if you would want me to add Georgia's memorial number for other researchers? I don't have that information. If you would like Franky's transferred to you, I'd be glad to do that. Lynne

RE: Mezella Janie Craft McGowan
I checked on the Missouri Secretary of State's website where death records are available to view for free. Her name is listed as Mazella Jane McGowen on her death certificate. Her daughter Lila was the informant.

RE: Mezella Janie Craft McGowan
On the 1920 census she is listed as Zella. The full name can be found on her son's, Cecil "Jake" McGowen, social security application. You can see this on Ancestry. She was my great aunt by marriage, and was told her name from a cousin. Hope this helps.

Find A Grave At Saratog
HI Raylene, This is Debbie Clark, you have information listed on Find a Grave which is not correct. You have Betty Michels ssw Larry as being dead. She is very much alive, is remarried and has been to the cemetery every year since her first husband Larry died. She was there today. Her mother married my Uncle Bob, so she grew up as my cousin. Sam and Iva Barton have ALWAYS lived just north of the cemetery. Iva decorates her husbands grave and they have 4 grown children, David, Claud, Chris and a daughter who married a Smith. Try looking in MO. reords not Texas.
