Carl Davis
Saw the memorial you created for Carl Davis, i believe he is the brother of Alta Davis, she was first married to Charles Edman Smith, then James Edgar Nash, then Tom David Vaughan.

I'm hoping to get in touch with someone whom may have a photo of Alta, she was my Grandpa's aunt, his dad was Charlie's brother.

Hi Bill,

Where would one find records on those buried at Play Square and also Meijer Field. Supposedly there are some buried (unmarked) in the empty field at Eastern next to 8th Street. What can you tell me?

I added his obit from the Hutchinson Paper to his memorial in the notes. Hope you aren't offended. If so, please let me know and I would be glad to remove it. Thanks.

Glaze, Levere, b. 10/16/1921, d. 4/3/1997, Sec D, Lot-2, Sp #2
(wife of Donald E Glaze )

(All of these are brothers of Minnie Davis, and their wives. All are buried in the same section except Donald & Levere Glaze. It would seem that this Minnie Davis is a Glaze.

There are also other Glazes who are my grandparents, aunts & uncles.

There are 2 other Glazes
Ray Glaze b.A. 1-1-1900
Jennifer Glaze b. 1-1-1900 (perhaps the wife of Ray) (I don't know where these two belong yet.)

I have emailed Kay Lacey and asked her if they have info on Minnie Davis' maiden name. If I hear from her I will let you know.

Minnie 'Ferrel' Glaze
Questions: Concerning the Minnie 'Ferrel' Davis(Memorial# 11133931) married to Carl Davis - Are there two Carl & Minnie Davis' buried in the Cimarron Cemetery, Gary Co., Kansas? Do you know where the maiden name of 'Ferrel' on the memorial listed above came from? Was it listed in the cemetery records?

The children linked to her memorial are the children of my great uncle, Ira Green Glaze's daughter Minnie May Glaze who married Carl Davis and are both buried in Cimarron Cemetery.

I am trying to figure out if these are the same Minnie Davises and the maiden name of "Ferrel" is a mistake. I have posted to findagrave my memorials for Carl E Davis (Memorial # 71847531) and married Minnie May 'Glaze' Davis (Memorial# 71847117). Minnie Glaze was 17 at the time of their marriage so it is very doubtful that she was married prior to her marriage of Carl Davis.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Harold & Bernice Brown
I am glad to be able to help you solve a mystery regarding Harold. I found the Mount Hope Cemetery records online so I am adding all the names onto findagrave. I enjoy hearing about the success people have in finding somebody that I have entered online.

You can call one of the libraries in Lander and see if they can look up the obits for you if you don't already have them.
