|I'm hooked on doing my family genealogy. But, for the past few years have been stopped at the brick wall with my BARNES family. My William Henry BARNES of Syracuse, NY, born there on 05-05-1863 has been as far back as I've been able to go with this family. His life was such a short one, leaving few trails to follow. Census have shown his parents were both born in IRE. All I know about my BARNES I have posted here on Find A Frave.|
When I am not buried into my genealogy I enjoy spending time with my grandkids and the family!

Hi, thanks for the note, but I'm not sure what you are talking about. Who is Alexander West?

I do not have any records stating that Alfred Preston was ever married. He died in Oklahoma.

Hi. I am researching my father's side of the family. I am the granddaughter of James A. Chambers, great granddaughter of Charles Chambers and great great granddaughter of Sarah. My father's name is Todd M. Chambers and he was born in Michigan in 1951. So, Mary Ann Chambers Barnes would have been his great Aunt. This is all so cool. I have an ancestry tree going and I know I have seen your screen name pop up on family connections. Please email me at email@example.com We should set up a family reunion.
Hello! It was my pleasure to have posted the picture of the grave marker for your sister Dena Cody and her husband, Kendrick James Cody in San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery! Have a blessed and Merry Christmas!

I am pleased that my posting this memorial is meaningful to you. Let me know if you would like management of it as I am just recording everyone in this cemetery that is not already recorded.

I believe that William Henry Barnes was the son of Abram Barnes and his first wife, Ellen Denham, who died in Boone county, 19 Dec 1851. W. H. Barnes was born in Boone county, Missouri, 1 Mar 1847 and died in Lawrence county, Missouri, about 1906. Ellen was born about 1822 in Kentucky. Hope that helps.
