I just found Anna & her husbandʻs gravestone that you posted... thanks for doing that. The Roosevelt family are distant cousins... may I use the photo on my private family tree? I always give credit to the members who are generous with their photos, time and efforts... thanks so much...

Thank you very much for the picture of Ashbel Webster's monument. It's an excellent shot, and many other researchers in the future will benefit as a result.

Thank you for responding. I graduated in "53" and am a cousin of Jerry Wiley. You may also know my brother Dean Wiley, and my Aunt Bertha Wiley who taught at Bridgton Jr. High. Figuring out Wallace is quite a challenge. His second marriage was to my Great Aunt Grace (she was 18 and he was about 48) They had 4 children. Aunt Grace was a sister to Carlton Sargent who married Wallace's daughter, Myrtle (my Grandmother). After Wallace died in 1913 Grace married again and had two more children and then she died at the age of 34. James S Douglass, Wallace's father, married again in the 1860's and
moved to Ontario, Canada had three more children and died in Ontario in 1910.
I'm curious about the parents of your Grandmother
Harmon. Would you mind telling me their names? We just might be distant relatives!
Sincerely, Janice Palmer

I am Janice Wiley Palmer and I grew up in Naples Maine. I have been working on my family tree and noticed that you have created several memorials for the Douglass family in the Denmark and Bridgton Maine area. Wallace R Douglass is my Gr.Grandfather. His daughter Myrtle L. Douglass Sargentis my Grandmother. I would like very much to know what happened to Wallace's mother, Aurelia
(Orilla, maybe her name was Amelia) Day Douglass. I can not find her beginning about 1858-59. I know that James S Douglass went to Canada and with Sarah had other children. If you are related to the Douglass family and have any information that you could give to me it would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, Janice Palmer
