I see you are aware of the different data between headstone and death Certificate.Which to believe, to believe the dates are transcription, or a slip of memory, when the DC was filled out.

Hi, His Death Certificate has b. 20 Jan 1854 d. 2 Sep 1918. Informant Mrs. L D Barton. Maiden name Mary Ida Franklin w/o Louden A Barton I am wondering if Martha Mays given as mothers maiden name wife of Edward Stephen Mays was cousin to his father.

I'm not related, but I thought you'd like to have the death notice information for Rose Quigley.

The Philadelphia Press; Tuesday, August 15, 1893, Page 9:

"QUIGLEY On August 12, 1893, ROSE, daughter of the late Frank and Annie Quigley. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the (funeral) on Wednesday morning at 8.30 o'clock, from the residence of her brother, James Quigley, 605 Winton Street. Solemn Mass of Requiem at the Sacred Heart Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery."
