|I confess that I love genealogy. I love finding obituaries and adding them whether they are my families or not. Of course I find them in the course of my own research and my paid job at the courthouse. If you find that I need to add more information to your loved ones sight, or correct, what I have posted, please let me know. I would be more than happy to do so. So on with the next adventure!|

Becky, I would appreciate it very much if you would transfer my Great Grandfather, Charles Robinette to me. This is my third request. His number is #22627220 and my contributor number is #47944182. Thank-you for adding him to Find-A-Grave. If you are a relative, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

I am trying to establish when Voler V. Viles first wife Jessie passed away. I find two conflicting dates of her death: April 29, 1911 and May 3, 1911. Jessie was born in 1883, Voler V. Viles was born in 1878. They had a son Robert C. Viles born 1901 and a second son Voler V. Viles, Jr born April 29, 1911. The death Certificate for Jessie states she died in Washington DC on April 29, 1911 and was buried in Missouri. After Jessie's death, Voler remarried sometime between 1911 and 1913 to Florence A. Locke who was born in 1891 and died in 1970. They had a son Voler Locke Viles born December 25,1914 and died on September 10, 2000. Florence Locke Viles mother was my great-grandfather's sister. If you have any information about Voler Locke Viles and his family it would be much appreciated. Steven Haws (great-grandson of Thomas J. Thorogood.

Thank you for the transfer and all you do for this site/group

Id like to make a request if you are not family. George Fontain # 11775465 looks to be the father of my uncle George A Fontaine (I know family did not all spell with an "e", but previous memorials seem to have the connected). He is my anut's father-in-law (she is my father's sister) and Id like to add there is no headstone where his burial is located.
If you'd like to add the info, Id be glad to send that info I got from a volunteer when I made a request for a photo for his memorial.
Thank you for what you do.

As far as I can tell, no one knows who Nancy Moody Franklin's parents were, but they weren't James Moody and "Isabella" who were on the 1850 census in Clay Co., Missouri. They did have a daughter Nancy Ann of roughly the right age (b. Jul. 22, 1848, d. May 1, 1931), but she moved with her parents to Kansas and was there for the 1860 census. She was in Nebraska with her widowed mother in 1870 and the family moved to California about 1875. Nancy "Nannie" Moody married Jedson/Judson Parsons and is buried as Nannie A. Parsons in San Gabriel Cemetery San Gabriel, Los Angeles County, California. (Find A Grave Memorial# 110952804). Also as far as I have seen, Nancy Moody Franklin did not have the middle name "Ann." It isn't on her marriage record or any of the censuses and it isn't on her grave stone. I think the "Ann" has been added because James Moody's daughter had the middle name Ann. I have a fair amount of information about this family and can document what I am posting here.

Sent an email to you about several edits we submitted for him. Thanks!

Lots of people gave their children (daughters included) middle names of ancestor's last names. That may have been what her parents did.
