I was born in Atlanta and grew up in Royston, Georgia. I met my wife Sharman Rogers Fricks in May 1990 in Athens, Georgia.|
We married at Tallassee Rd Church on August 5th, 1995. We moved to Savannah, Georgia in December 1993. Then in June 2000, we decided to moved to Tampa, or Temple Terrace, Florida where my wife grew up.
Shortly after arriving in Savannah, Georgia, I begin to teach myself the many different research tools that were available to the public.
Savannah was rich in history and I soon spent my weekends at the Savannah Historical Society on Whitaker Street and the old Bull Street Library researching old microfilm machines.
I have spent much of my time since those foggy Savannah mornings researching baseball and other historically significant subjects about the history of the great state of Georgia - a place I love unconditionally.
History is the greatest form of knowledge a person can incorporate into human intelligence.

Wesley, I went to Atlanta in 1958 and worked with the Bankers Health and Life Insurance Company. Mrs. Fricks was one of my clients. I became friends with Frank, Martha and Bobby. Those are the ones that i remember there names, but their were more that lived in the house on Ashby Street. I would love to here from you and find about the rest of the family. My cell phone number is 478-234-4485. Would love to here from you.
|Juanice Reed||Mary Ann James Moss|
Thank you very much for going to the Moss Cemetery and taking a picture of Mary Ann James Moss' tombstone.
Are you related to the Moss'? Do you know anything about Mary Ann James' parents?
Mary Ann James Moss is my great grandmother's, Cynthia Anne James Morrow, half sister.
|W.A. (Bill aka Bear) Patterson Jr||Just a small note...|
I thank you Sir for your hard work in here...
Take good care, Bill
I am also a direct descendent of John Moss and Nancy Liles Boatwright. I descend through their daughter Elizabeth H. Moss Smith.
Through which line do you descend? I will transfer your direct line from the couple if it is not the same as my own.
If you want any edits done send them my way and I will be happy to make them.
Have far have you gotten with the cemetery restoration? There are quite a few older cemeteries in Stephens County that I have been worried about and the Moss Cemetery is one of them.

Perry J. Moss, Jr. died in Elberton, GA on September 13, 1995.
Can you tell me whether he was the son of:
John Perry, Sr. & Corene (Sullivan) Moss?
Perry J., Sr. & Ruby (Hewell) Moss?
Both of these Perry Mosses had a son named Perry, Jr. who were born about the same time.

I tried to send you an attachment which is rather large and it was returned saying you were over your limit.
Let me know how I can get it to you.

I would prefer to retain this memorial, I am still working on this line and adding information. Please give me a few more months and then make your request again. Thanks, Bobbie
|Pat Gillespie||Evelyn Akins, Harmony Baptist|
