Well that's odd. You were able to open it and read it? Could you try sending a response to instead? That's my husband's email. I figured it would be easier to communicate via email instead this of this somewhat clunky messaging system.

RE: Mary A. Williams Bruton
Well we are. My Franklin George Waller(is a son of Lewis Franklin). Lewis is buried in Fieldale, Va., and his plantation house is still there. I went in it in 1998. Lewis is buried behind house. His slaves are buried just outside the fenced in graveyard.

At least six of Lewis Franklin's kids migrated to Kentucky including my George Waller Franklin and his brother Jeremiah. Their sister Susanna married a Glass and she is buried at Lick Branch Cemetery as is my g-grandfather George Henry "Dick Franklin and his wife Sallie Bell Peden Franklin.

Don't get confused here as my g-grandfather was George Henry. Jeremiah also had a son he named George Henry Franklin.

I had been looking for Jeremiah's grave for 20 years. He is buried in a wooded area called No Man's Land. With the exception of one grave all the rest are just rocks. I found it in 2015 thanks to the owner of the land that lives at the end of Genie Franklin Road. Impossible to find without him.

It is maybe 1/2 mile behind Lick Branch Cemetery but no raod to it from that way.

So we are related.

RE: Mary A. Williams Bruton
Don't call me

Mary and her husband Sandusky Bruton had only one child, my grandmother Alice Bruton Franklin.

Mary was born on 3/29/1838 and died 12/22/1895 and is buried next to her husband. Her mother Frances Arnott Williams is buried next to them. Frances was born 1/30/1815 in Monroe County, VA( now WV) and died 4/29/1892. She was married to Jas./James Williams. I have him born ABT 1810 in Hawkins, TN., and died 1872 in Overton ,TN. I not sure where.

Frances parents were William Minnis Arnott and Susannah Bowyer(sp?).

The only thing I have on James Williams father is a John Williams from North Carolina.

Probably easier to email at Would be willing to help on anything you need. I live in Laguna Beach, CA. Going to Glasgow(Barren County), KY., in April for some genealogy stuff.
